The best wind chime ever

I love wind chimes but this one is the best made and sound I have ever heard. My husband is from Long Island and could not have been happier with his Christmas present.Highly recommend
Comforting chime

I have now purchased this same buoy bell four times. First for myself and then for friends who have had loved ones who have passed. It really makes so much more of a statement than flowers and a beautiful lasting memory. I have purchased the Puget Sound one each time as I love the beautiful chime it makes. It takes quite a bit of wind to make it chime so it's not really bothersome to my neighbors. I order two charms each time because of the free shipping and it is nice to change up the charms ever so often.
Wonderful sound

Different than wind chimes. Sounds like the buoys we've encountered while sailing
Loved even more than I thought

This was a Christmas gift for my husband, who used to race sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay. I had no clue buoys sounded different in different areas, but we both love the sound of this. We live in a pretty windy area, and windchimes can be annoying - too light and too much constant tinkling noise. This is really so well-made, nice and heavy and has a very calming sound. It doesn't always "ring" - sometimes it just "murmers" and that's soothing, too. It's out near a waterfall in our backyard, so the combination of sounds is really soothing, and reminds me of some Buddhist bells (or, he says, "church bells.") Very, very happy with this purchase, and I would make it for anyone who has a love especially of a specific area/body of water. Thank you so much!
I love it!!

The first one I received was damages slightly. The return, refund, replacement process was simple and quick. Manny, the customer service rep I spoke with was knowledgeable and personable. My replacement came in perfect condition and I am thoroughly enjoying the sound of Cape Cod in my backyard!!

Captures the distinctive sound from over 20 coastal locations Crafted with recycled steel
Enjoy the sound of the sea at home with a buoy bell. Each bell is carefully made to recreate the distinctive chime from various buoy bell locations along both coasts. The bells are made in Maine from recycled steel and built to last for at least 20 years of sea-inspired sound.

North Country Wind Bells

Jim Davidson was a lobsterman in Maine for years. Buoy bells chiming as he hauled in his lobster traps was a favorite sound—equal parts peaceful and melodic, and an indicator that he was safely close to harbor.

Jim was so enamored with the sound that he and his wife, May, began creating their own wind chimes to capture it. Their North Country Wind Bells are made at home in Maine and capture the tones of over 20 coastal and harbor bells.

Each location has a distinctive sound—from Bar Harbor to San Francisco—that Jim and May have carefully recreated. They started by recording as many local bells as they could. They then fine-tuned their own bells by ear until the sound was just right.

The bells and windcatchers are crafted from recycled steel by many of the locals in the Davidsons' small town, and should last for at least 20 years of coastal-inspired sound. more Their Story
