I absolutely love my buoy bells!

I am so happy with my latest purchase of the buoy bells! The sounds take me to a peaceful, quiet place full of memories of living in Rhode Island and my visits to Maine. This is a wonderful addition to a back patio!
I want one too!

This was a gift for a friend. She loves it. I do too. Going to order for myself.
Buoy Bells

I have purchased 3 bouy bells and love them. Each has a different, southing sound. My only disappointment is the limited selection of charms. When I purchased my first 2 bells, there was a large selection of charms I chose a horse and cat. These and several others were not available for my most recent purchase. My favorite bell is the Marbelhead.
Love it, relaxing

I originally bought one as a gift for my sister. I liked it so much I bought one for myself. It's right by my porch swing and when we get a breeze I love how it sounds. I plan on purchasing a few more before Christmas for gifts.
Gift was a hit

Sent to my son for his birthday. He described the tone as haunting, “The chime sounds like an old buoy in the middle of a calm foggy ocean.” Wonder what his neighbors think?

Captures the distinctive sound from over 20 coastal locations Crafted with recycled steel
Enjoy the sound of the sea at home with a buoy bell. Each bell is carefully made to recreate the distinctive chime from various buoy bell locations along both coasts. The bells are made in Maine from recycled steel and built to last for at least 20 years of sea-inspired sound.

North Country Wind Bells

Jim Davidson was a lobsterman in Maine for years. Buoy bells chiming as he hauled in his lobster traps was a favorite sound—equal parts peaceful and melodic, and an indicator that he was safely close to harbor.

Jim was so enamored with the sound that he and his wife, May, began creating their own wind chimes to capture it. Their North Country Wind Bells are made at home in Maine and capture the tones of over 20 coastal and harbor bells.

Each location has a distinctive sound—from Bar Harbor to San Francisco—that Jim and May have carefully recreated. They started by recording as many local bells as they could. They then fine-tuned their own bells by ear until the sound was just right.

The bells and windcatchers are crafted from recycled steel by many of the locals in the Davidsons' small town, and should last for at least 20 years of coastal-inspired sound. more Their Story
