Plakks founders Jordi Domínguez and Haritz Múgica have been playing together since childhood. The Barcelona natives saw a video on social media about board games and it sparked an idea to create a soccer-themed setup with new rules. Two days later, they had materials in hand and went to work on the first version. Their friends were enthusiastic, and interest grew when they brought prototypes to summer camps and soccer tourneys. Ever since, Jordi and Haritz have brought their passion for sports to board games that encourage friendly competition off the field.
