Feel I have protection should I ever need it

Tested the strobe light and alarm sound, will definitely scare someone with bad intentions away, have not tried the spray and hope to never have to! Bought one for my daughter, I have showed it to my friends, everyone agrees the strobe light and alarm sound are an awesome idea to go along with the pepper spray. Easy to carry in my purse.
one critical thing missing

This is a great idea with one critical design flaw. If there is a next generation it simply must possess a ring in the base so that it can be hung from a lanyard or chain rather than buried in a purse.
Does as promised

I like nearly everything about my Plegium pepper spray. My one regret is that it has no way to be carried, like a loop, to make it more accessible while not totally involving one hand.

Three times the peace of mind with a pepper spray alarm that has added built-in functions to help you stay and feel safe. Pull the trigger to shoot the spray, and a super-loud emergency alarm and a distracting LED strobe light will activate simultaneously. Lasts for up to 10 bursts, and the battery lasts up to four years.

The idea to innovate tried-and-true pepper spray came to Plegium Makers Henrik Frisk and Carl Ljung from their own experiences. Henrik was the victim of robbery, and Carl was interested in better-protecting his growing children. The duo put their heads together and landed on adding new technology and features to standard pepper spray.

Plegium pepper spray does the spraying job you’d expect, but by pulling the trigger you’re also activating a super-loud safety alarm and a disorienting strobe light. For a more connected experience, the smart spray packs in those functions and also alerts emergency contacts with a text message and a phone call with your location.

Carl and Henrik’s ultimate goal is to never need these types of safety devices, but until that day comes, their tools work to increase personal safety, and peace of mind, too.
