Prohoe Rogue Tools

Back in 1985, Prohoe Rogue Tools Maker Loren Kisby was in search of the just-right tool to tackle a job on his farm. He DIYed a quick fix and tossed the makeshift tool in the scrap pile—but found himself pulling it back out again and again. Loren eventually created some work space in an empty chicken coop to make the sturdy, does-it-all tool for others to wield.

Loren’s garden hand tool and hoes are made in Kansas with repurposed (not to mention super sharp) agricultural disc blades for the heads. The grinding, welding, and sharpening of each tempered steel blade is done by hand and finished with a New England ash wood handle. The result of Loren’s good idea, careful craftsmanship, and sturdy materials are durable tools that can handily help clear out weeds, yard waste, and lend a hand with planting.
