While traveling, ReflecToes Maker Ben O’Brien didn’t always carry reflectors or lights with him on bike rides. When he was back behind the wheel he realized how hard it was to distinguish between moving pedestrians and cyclists wearing reflectors from stationary reflective signs and mailboxes. Ben thought adding reflectivity to socks would provide increased visibility and show the most motion—and be impossible to lose while on walks, runs, or bike rides. He applied his background in reflective product development for the apparel industry and got to work. After several iterations, he landed on the perfect, high-performance pair that keeps feet feeling comfortable and makes you more visible around cars and other foot traffic.
