Fun activity for children
01/02/2018 by Carol
Purchased one for each of my four grandsons, ages 7-13, and each loved them. The 7-year-old did require taped stitches in forehead due to a fall, but is now wearing the required helmet.
Tons of fun!

My 12-year old son loves this thing! He can't get enough of the snow and has a blast trying to see how far he can glide on this. It's durable, but lightweight. The light on ours doesn't work, which is why I can't give a five rating.
For small children, not adults

The adults in our group found the handle too short to use. Reaching for it threw our center of gravity too far forward. The small children in our group had less of a problem.
Not as expected

Bought four (4) Ski Scooters for grandchildren,,, they were excited for snow so they could try them out. They went to the mountain this past week and were really disappointed, said they were hard to turn and just did not have a good experience with them. I would return them but bought in November for Christmas so now return date is past. This is the only item I have ever been disappointed with from The Grommet.
The person I bought it for likes it

The daredevil 6 year old really likes it. It's lightweight so he can carry it around easily, and it goes fast enough for him and almost slowly enough for his mother. And he hasn't broken it yet so it must be reasonably sturdy.

Snowboard Kick Scooter

When you add a handle to a snowboard, you get a snow scooter—a fun, new way to spend time outside. The Ski Skooter gives kids the feel of riding a snowboard, but with an adjustable handle that can help with balance and steering. The lightweight, durable body folds down to store until the next snow day.

A snow scooter gives kids a reason to stay outside even when it's cold. This snowboard-scooter combination is a fun new way to play in the snow.

The adjustable handle helps kids stay balanced while giving them a hand with steering. The board’s non-skid surface lends some extra grip, too, but they should wear a helmet, just in case. The lightweight, durable body folds down for easy storage between runs, or to stow it in the trunk when you take it along on trips. We think this sled alternative will keep kids busy, happy, and even more likely to wish for a snow day. more Their Story
