Instant, accessible music · Squeeze, tap, and pound to create sounds · Pairs with iOS devices
This music cube encourages little musicians to get hands-on with making sounds. Kids can make music instantly by pressing, pounding, or tapping the irresistible squishy cube. Switch up sounds, set volume controls, play music from streaming platforms and more through the app.

Skoogmusic got its start when Makers Dr. David Skulina and Dr. Ben Schögler were lead researchers on a musical instruments accessibility project. David studied physics and has a Ph.D. in musical acoustics while Ben studied developmental psychology and has a Ph.D. in music and communication. The duo created Skoogmusic as an easy-to-master alternative to traditional instruments, which require practice and skill. The irresistible squishy Skoog cube and Skwitch button look simple but synthesize complex sounds when pressed by young hands. They both work with iOS apps that let you switch up sounds, control volume, and even play music from iTunes and Spotify. It’s a fun, hands-on way to give any and all kids an instant way to musically express themselves.
