Not What I Was Expecting
When I was a teenager in the 70’s, there was a razor similar to this one without the sprayer and moisture bar, but with, as I remember it, four integrated blades. I loved that 70’s version (and hoped this one would work as well). Fast forward about 45 years and a souped-up version of that razor hits The Grommet. I was excited! My findings: The entire product is larger than I expected; no biggie. The moisture bar is so hard and shaped in an (outward) arc that hurts my shin bone when “lathering” and only puts out a thin ribbon of moisture. Once I thought there was enough “moisture” on my skin, the razor nicked me in four places and the after burn (both underarms and legs) is hard to overlook. It was difficult to get a complete shave because the “lather” is invisible. I purchased this razor to use in our motor home and for travel because of it’s ability to conceal the blade (bravo for the design) and be used with minimal water. Bottom line: Great idea, poor materials/cheap blade system. Beauty bar (lather) is a slimy waste. The only way I could use it would be to rub the bar into the palm of my hand then then apply it to my legs/underarms. I’ll be returning this product and the additional beauty bars I purchased. Expensive way to have your skin abraded and burned. The bar should be arced in an inward version to make it easier to apply enough lather to prevent razor burn and the razor should work better than a five-pack from the dollar store. I do understand the hard milling of the bar to help it last longer, tho’. One grommet for the idea and design, no grommets for execution. Sorry :(.
Where has this been all my life?Perfect for my purse for those unexpected moments and great for travel!
Perfect for Whatever
I have three 3-in-1 portable razors. I keep one in an emergency travel bag; one in my regular bag, and, of course, one in the bathroom. It works just like you described. I love the bright color, mine is pink. You can see it easily in your bag. I also got replacement blades, which is another plus. Thank you
A Beach bag must have
Reminiscent of the old school FLICKER. So cool. I'm buying them for ALL my girls!
I thought this product was a brilliant idea. I ordered it and am very disappointed and would like to return it. There is a section for water, but I cannot figure out how to fill it.
Your best-kept shaving secret. Keep the Sphynx 3-in-1 portable razor in your bag so you’re always prepared to do quick touch-ups. This unique, compact design has everything you need, including a refillable water bottle, a sulfate-free shea butter lotion bar, and two single-blade razors. Twist your way through each step and toss Sphynx back in your bag for the next time.
After one too many “missed-a-spot” moments, Leila Kashani created the Sphyx 3-in-1 portable razor so women could touch-up at the gym, beach, or while traveling. The shaving solution is compact and jam-packed with smart features—like the sulphate-, paraben-, and gluten-free shea butter lotion bar that won’t melt in high temps, the single-blade design for less clogging and easier clean-ups, and tiny little holes that let the razor breathe. There’s even a built-in back-up blade. The colorful, discreet compact looks great, too.
