Worst aspect in top bullet...

In the very top "quality point," it states that the item will fit 'virtually any tablet without a case, or in cases less than 10 mm.' In my experience, there are NO cases that make any tablet fit under 10 mm. With the clip being made without any spongy material, does not prevent scratching or scoring to the surface of your tablet. In addition, who uses their tablet without a case? These things are expensive and easily damaged. Thusly, we are left with having to remove and replace the cover to use this item; frustrating and time consuming. There are many other tablet and phone holders that have long metal goosenecks that one can clamp onto one's headboard (or desk!) which have perfectly soft and spring-held protective edge-holders without the curved plastic that will erode your tablet or phone frames. It also bounces off at the most inopportune times, guaranteeing that you'll get a bruise after the bungee snaps your person; the hand being one of the most painful! Give this thing a pass and shop Amazon for the heading "bed tablet holders" (or some such) and they usually have free shipping for orders over a certain dollar amount ($25-$35) if you don't have a Prime account, and they don't charge extra if they have to separate one's order, avoiding paying the multiple shipping charges that The Grommet has as a matter of course.
Well made and fast shipping

a great product that is very sturdy. Unfortunately my husbands Samsung phone is too wide to work. Probably great for other devices.
So helpful

I like my Tablift; it is just as advertised and makes reading in my recliner and in my bed much more comfortable than before, when I had to hold my tablet in one hand or the other, which quickly becomes awkward and fatiguing. Worth the investment if you read a lot on an E-reader, like I do.

This is my 3rd tablet stand. My first 2 were taken by my daughter and husband. That should tell you these are perfect for all situations!

Flexible Universal Tablet Stand

Bendable legs adjust to the just-right position Perfect on the couch or in bed
Get your tablet out of your hands and into the perfect position. Tablift holds your tablet securely on top of bendable, adjustable legs, leaving you to enjoy it hands-free, even when lying completely flat. Use it in bed, on the couch, or on any uneven surface and it holds your tablet at eye level, which is easier on your neck. The flexible legs fold compactly for easy storage.

Tablift

Using your tablet in bed or on the couch is less than ideal for viewing—not to mention uncomfortable. But we all try to do it anyway.

Tablift holds your tablet for you, safely mounting it on top of bendy legs that stay stable on uneven surfaces. Your tablet fits in the tray and is secured by a bungeed clip. Adjust the legs to whatever height is ideal. It’s that easy—your tablet is elevated to eye level, and you’re ready to relax without holding it awkwardly or cramping your neck.

Founder Scott Blevins searched for a tablet stand for bed, and when he couldn’t find the right one, he created Tablift. This stand is substantial but streamlined, and folds down compactly when you’re not using it.

Get comfortable and enjoy your tablet fully hands-free.
