Great product
10/22/2019 by Cathy
I used the Silicone Pie Crust Shield for the first time today and it worked great. My pear pie crust and chicken pot pie crust was evenly browned. My pie plates are 12” in diameter, so the shields were just a tad short to lock into place. However, I was able to secure the end into the tab successfully. This sure beats struggling with tin foil to cover the edges. Also, I ran these on the top rack of my dishwasher before using because I have experienced a chemical odor when baking with silicone products. There was no odor at all with the shields. I bought a set as a gift for a friend who loves to bake.
