I have not had it quite long enough to give a complete review as I am still practicing t perfect it.
Disappointed

Great idea, but in order to pound the pomegranate with your wooden spoon, you have to hit the edges of the bowl too. I couldn’t get a solid whack on the fruit because the sides of the device were way too high. Much easier to hold it in my hand and whack the seeds into a bowl. Strain the juice if you want it.
It works!

I don't know how easy or difficult to get the seeds out using other methods. I found this to be really easy. I'd suggest you use a plastic bag to cover the whole thing before you start tapping the pomegranate. Without it, you get bright red splashes all over!
Doing in the pomegrant

Really takes a painful, time consuming task away from your routine. Could have used this years ago. Gave them as gifts, also.
Very messy

I ordered this because I love eating pomegranates and the video showed how easy it was to use. Unlike the video, it actually takes a lot more pressure to get the arils out of the pom and into the bowl. It created a big juicy mess all over my cabinets and things on the counter. It did however do a great job of gathering the pom juice. In the end, I will return it and go back to the way I have always done poms: under water that is neat and orderly and really doesn't take very long at all. I love The Grommet and have loved all the products I have bought to date, but this is a no for me.

Pomegranate Deseeder

This pomegranate deseeder gets to those tasty and good-for-you seeds faster and easier than other methods can. Arils pass through the all-in-one tool’s sieve that catches most of the unwanted membrane and pith. They collect in the bowl that captures all the juice, too, and that has a spout for easy draining. A lid lets you store what you want (seeds, juice, or maybe both) in the tool.

Tescoma

The team at Tescoma, along with many of us, know that deseeding a pomegranate can be a tedious (and sloppy) process. Their handy tool solves that by doing the job faster and with less mess. And when we say faster we mean, like, in under two minutes.

Place a cut pomegranate onto the spikes and tap it with a spoon to knock the seeds out. Arils will pass through the sieve, which catches most of the membrane and pith, and into the bowl. The bowl contains all the juice and has a spout for draining, and a lid locks the seeds in for storage. See? Pretty simple. This tool saves you time and effort, and you get easily separated seeds as the tasty—and healthy—reward.
