Wonderful design, not heavy weight

3/6/2019 by Beverly

I purchased two. My husband loves the design. He straps down a UTV and moves it everday. He might go just a couple of miles, or several hundred. One>
One of the straps could not handle the load, frayed and broke. I called Grommet and they replaced the strap. The other one is starting to fray, so I'm afraid it will break soon. The design is perfect, but the strap itself is not strong enough for daily use. We did purchase the heaviest duty that they had.

I would buy 6 more if they could make with a heavier duty strap, or maybe making it wider for use with heavier straps. But these are awesome in design!!!!

smaller than expected

I haven't had to use it yet. This product has a great design but the "huge" picture of the strap makes it look a lot bigger than it is.More > < Less

HOPE TO CHANGE MY RATING

1/14/2019 by Smitty

VERY NICE PRODUCT at first sight. Gave it to my husband for Christmas. He transports lots of construction type stuff and has to use tie downs a lot! This seemed perfect.... he used it once and it will NOT retract! It is STUCK!

I have contacted customer service who will, hopefully, text my husband with instructions. IF THIS IS ABLE TO BE FIXED, I will change my rating. The actual tie down seems to be sturdy. Sure hope we can get it UNSTUCK or trade it out!

Maker's Note:

This can happen for two reasons, but both are easily fixable:

1) The handle is not moved all the way forward for release. Just make sure it's moved all the way and you should be all set.

2) Too much webbing is rolled up on the ratchet itself - take some of that out and you'll free the mechanism!

The absolute neatest tie down strap we could find.

About Quickloader

Hands-Down Best Tie Down

If you’ve ever used a tie down, you probably know that there’s room for improvement with the traditional tool. Quickloader is just that. It’s a ratchet tie down strap that makes moving loads easier and safer thanks to its self-adjusting recoil feature.

When you tighten the straps, the locking mechanism provides an added measure of safety and prevents the webbing from coming loose. The extra-large steel handle gives hands a safer distance from the ratcheting mechanism, and gives you better leverage to crank it. When you’re done, Quickloader retracts the webbing to store neatly—no knots or tangles—for the next job.
