Sash and Go

Keys, check. Money, check. Cell phone, check. Now, if only you had bigger pockets or more than two hands. That was the problem Amy Barnum aimed to solve when she designed Quivvers, an easy way to keep essentials at your fingertips without tying up your hands or weighing down your back and shoulders. Whether you’re racing through the airport, going for a bike ride or just taking a walk on the beach, your hands have better things to do than perform a juggling act. Quivvers are like a messenger bag, only sleeker and more minimal, and are worn across the body for a comfortable fit and anytime access to the stuff you can’t leave home without. Made in the USA in Barnum’s hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Quivvers are water-resistant, adjustable, reversible, and contain multiple compartments to keep your things organized and within reach. Wherever life takes you, Quivvers set your hands free to enjoy the ride.

Quivvers was created out of my own active lifestyle. I wanted my essentials like money, mobile, keys and ID on me all the time, but didn’t want to be bogged down with bags, purses or full pockets with each new activity or day.

Our Quivvers are small, but mighty, leaving your hands free to focus on your everyday journey... sort of a "look ma, no hands" kind of feeling!

So, an over-the-shoulder fanny pack is what I would really call this, not so much a "sleeker messenger bag"

    But, umm, close... ish.

@Amanda as a new product category, it's been called a lot of things. Whatever helps you visualize it best works. Most who have tried it, call it a total life changer as it allows them to be active and comfortable with their most valuable items.

@Amanda, as a sometime archer, I think the name Ms. Barnum gave and the description are perfect. There is no need to post rebuffs when it's obviously your personal interpretation and not an actual misrepresentation of the product. Whatever it's likened to, it's a wonderful idea!

So I get that these are waterproof, but does that mean I'm going to have plastic-like material against my skin? Sounds hot and irritating to my possibly bare shoulder.

@Molly Quivvers have 3 different materials to select from: denier, vinyl coated nylon or jersey. The denier and vinyl coated nylon provide a water-resistant barrier and are not uncomfortable on the body. They are so lightweight and minimal, it can barely be felt on your body. The jersey is especially comfortable, but is not water-resistant. Usually, there is a layer of clothing between the Quivver and your skin as well. Give it a try!

Um.... so if you are big busted then how does the bag sit on your chest? It's one of the reasons why I don't care for cross-body purses too much, but I like the look of this bag. :)

@Dawn you can wear the narrow part across your chest which minimizes the impact. Also, the Quivver ends at your rib cage which is a flattering place to be sectioned off as it is a slimming affect. Most my bustier clients love how it makes them look... my sister even wears it with the rubber triangle on her shoulder (upside down technically) as she is busty and wants a place for her glasses to slide into as well. It is minimal and versatile.

I have a quivver and I love it! It is especially helpful when traveling. I know just where my ID, money, and phone are at all times. It would be extremely difficult for someone to grab off of me. I wear it while hiking, biking, and running. It really is so much nicer than lugging a big purse around, and much more stylish than a "fanny pack."

I love this idea! When I first saw it, I wondered if it would be able to hold other items such as epi-pens, inhaler, and liquid antihistamine. Any plans of making it slightly bigger to accommodate these type of items?

@paula It fits epi-pen and some inhaler sizes too. Not sure about the liquid antihistamine as we don't have that experience yet. This week, we sold one to a diabetic who will house her insulin equipment and meter in it while she is out adventuring and building homes on a mission trip!

@Cassandra it stays put with gravity. in high activity, you can synch it down tight to keep it from shifting - or even wear it as a waistpack.

There are many colors available. If you click into the specific product (where it says "shop") you can choose a drop down that will give you more color options.

This is cool. Does the clear pocket one allow you to use the phone screen without taking the phone out? I coach soccer and being able to turn off the time thru the clear pocket would be great.
