Grommet Launch Conversation
-
Hello everyone! I'm proud to introduce RAD Roller to The Grommet. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!
-
Is there a kit available which includes the "Muscle Flushing Kit and Roller Tool"?
-
@Kelly Hi Kelly. They're only available separately right now, but they work great as a team!
Mike @ RAD Roller -
I have an ongoing problem with a back rib getting displaced. Will this help?
-
@Deborah Deborah, it can help to release the muscles around the spine, which can help loosen up cranky ribs and keep them in place. We have a lot of folks the use the RAD Roller for this. Keep in mind, I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the Internet, so make sure to consult your local health professional.
Thanks for your question!
Mike @ RAD Roller -
Would these tools be effective at breaking up trigger points in back muscles? Would one be more effective for that purpose than the other?
-
@Greg absolutely!....we think of the RAD roller as a point release tool, where the helix and rod are better for 'muscle flushing'.....it will also help open up and normalize you posture which should help cool down the muscles and relax those trigger points.
Happy rolling!

Does the rad roller compare with the density and hardness of a lacrosse ball or more like a tennis ball?
-
Curious of this same question....
-
@Doris good question! It's softer than lacrosse ball, and harder than a tennis ball, which is what we feel is 'just right' for self myofascial therapy. Tennis balls can be too soft, and lacrosse balls can cause the muscles to tense up because they're so hard...
Mike @ RAD Roller -
Hey there, have any suggestions/solutions for working out leg cramps? hamstrings all the way to toes? Thanks!
-
@Stuart Yes, the RAD Rod is great for that! Those muscles are very large in general, and needs the small surfacce area of the rod to help dig in!
Mike @ RAD Roller -
Thanks Mike,
Ordering it now!
Thanks for the prompt reply!
Stuart -
Next question... just ordered the rod and would like to add the Helix massage tool to the order (vs. paying for shipping twice). Could you help me figure out how to do that please?
-
@Stuart I've asked the friendly folks at the Grommet to get back to you on that Stuart.
Hope you like the combo!
Mike @ RAD Roller -
Hi Stuart, you can connect with our Customer Experience Team here and they can assist you. Or, you can cancel the order through your order confirmation email and start again!
-
How does this compare to the MOBILITYWOD BATTLESTAR ?
-
@olga Olga....Battlestar is built for a different application, but in general, smaller surface area = more pressure available. The ROD has a very thin profile than not only allows you to dig deep into muscles, but allows greater access to 'smaller' areas, like the back of the neck, just below the skull, where lots of folks tend to hold tension.
Mike @ RAD Roller -
