DO NOT HESITATE - 5 STARS!

We are an older couple so when I saw this shovel I thought it might do the trick for outdoor projects. We had 5 large plants brown up this past hot summer in Florida & needed to take them out. The shovel showed up just in time today. With great sighs we walked over.....to the problem area.......
OMG-they popped out like muffins in a greased pan! Grabbed the dolly to take them to the curb, so happy with the stress free job! Thank you Grommet for offering such a wonderful garden helper. This works!

Cut right through the roots

by

It took little time & most of all effort to cut through the roots to dig up & relocate the plants I needed to move. I was procrastinating the job using my shovel as it’s hard on my back and hard to force the shovel through the root mass. The very day I received it I tried it. I was amazed how easy it was, being 66 it made my day very productive & no injuries. Highly recommended!!More > < Less

Excellen tool

by

Bought it because I have a lot of roots and compacted clay in my yard making digging holes for new plants way more difficult than need be. This shovel did the trick. It's a specialty tool that could make your life easier (and holes easier to dig!).More > < Less

About Radius Garden

Root Removers

Radius Garden Founder Bruce Baker created the Root Slayer family of root shovels to streamline digging, chopping, and sawing while you’re hard at work in the garden. And because Bruce always has usability and function in mind, his tools are ergonomic, durable, and guaranteed to last a lifetime.

These toughened up garden tools are made from strong but lightweight carbon steel, and all have an inverted-V cutting blade that’s lined with rip-saw teeth—this is where the slaying action comes from. The blade’s design is purposefully more narrow than typical tools to give you better access and leverage around roots. Ergonomic grips boost comfort, and there are even smart add-ons—like a twine cutter and bottle opener—built into the trowel and soil knife. These tools are a smarter way to get the dirty, root-removing job done.
