Jim Randel is a natural-born communicator. He’s got a knack for taking complex information and turning it into content that’s easy to digest, educational and entertaining. An attorney and entrepreneur, Jim’s latest endeavor is a series of books called The Skinny On. Each book in the series focuses on a single topic: networking, bullying, time management, credit cards, college, and more. They’re written in a conversational style, with stick figures and humorous drawings to highlight key points and keep the content from feeling too heavy. Jim came up with the concept to appeal to busy readers who want to learn about a topic but don’t have hours and hours to spend researching. Jim has done all the research and condensed the bottom-line, need-to-know information in paperback volumes that can be read in about an hour. He’s taking the same approach with his new Money series, which we’re pleased to help launch. The first book in the three-part series, Money 1, features 50 lessons you need to master personal finance. When you’re waiting in the doctor’s office, riding the train, or unwinding after a long day, Jim’s Money series and The Skinny On collection make it easy to learn something new.

I love having topics boiled down into an understandable format. These look great. Is the ebook compatible with all readers? iPad?

The e-book is in the PDF format which will work on iPads, iPhones, and all Android devices. It will not work on Kindle. Thank you for your comment. Best, Jim Randel

@Aunt_Bea: Great way of looking at it. But the compelling topics he has chosen go beyond self-help.
