Looks professional, though I have not had a chance to use it, still unpacking & haven't found mt my straight blades

Love it!

Bought one for my husband four months ago. He has only had to buy razors once and he used to buy them every week. Loved it so much that I bought one for my son. He loves it as well! Great product!

Wonderful product Just bought another!

I purchased this for my husband six months ago. He was tired of paying $25.00 every week for new razors! Since we bought this doodad, he has only bought one more pack of razors for a total of about $575.00 in savings! I even have him sharpen my "lady" razors and I haven't had to buy any for six months! I just bought my second one for my son!

Don't waste your $ on this product. Developed cracks on the smooth leather side & can't be used. Looks good hanging by the sink though. Alas, $28.95 down the drain. So it goes.

Poor quality control

At first use one of the rivet heads came off. I repaired. It renews a razor but not as wall as a white ceramic stone.

Razor Renew - Sharpening Tool

About Razor Renew

Look Sharp

John Mecham was tired of spending money on pricey disposable razors. In his quest for a better option, he invented Razor Renew, a leather tool that manually sharpens and polishes not just razor blades but also knives, scissors and other cutting instruments.

John’s tool is similar to the leather strops that old-school barbers use to sharpen straight edge razors. In the same way, Razor Renew can smooth the burrs and scratches on a disposable razor, bringing it back to like-new sharpness. What’s different is the material. John found that cowhide, which is great for straight edges, is too harsh
for thin razor blades. He experimented with different leathers and different designs before settling on a two-sided combination: a suede side to sharpen and hone the metal, and a smooth leather side to smooth and polish. The short version is for blades less than 3 inches long, and the long version works with larger knives, scissors and other blades.

If you’re looking to get more use out of disposable razors, or you want a DIY tool to maintain your knives and scissors, Razor Renew is a handy solution. It’s made in the U.S., and it’s designed to last a lifetime if you care for it properly. John wouldn’t have it any other way.
