Nice map

Overall great, but wish it had an underground map

Not bad, but not full map

2/10/2015 by Jennifer

I have the London map. It is on a nice, heavy material (not sure if it's coated paper or is actually printing on plastic) and seems very durable. It looks nice and has a lot of details.

However, it's just the middle strip of London, it's missing a lot of areas to the north, south, east and west. The Regents Park and Camden Market areas aren't included and neither is the Vauxhall area, nor is Notting Hill to the east. In planning my trip, I had to make a copy of the map and draw arrows off the sides pointing to various areas I wanted to visit.

Not sure I'm actually going to take it with me on the trip.

So, overall, it looks good, is very durable, and is very detailed in the parts of the city that it does show, but if you want a map of London that actually shows the entire city, don't get this one.

Nice Backup

1/5/2015 by Matthew

I like my Paris map. It was great when I would plan my day and I could keep it in my bag as a backup if I didn't want to use GPS or my phone. It points out some good places to check out and it's more durable than a paper one I would have printed from Google.More > < Less

London map

Really like the map and information it portrays. The one problem was we were in Notting Hill, just outside of London, and the map ended before many of the places we went to. Not a big deal as there are maps on many street corners. Once we were central London this was a valuable pocket aid.More > < Less

About Red Maps

Mapped & Curated

When it comes to planning a trip, the Internet and guidebooks are a great source of information. But once you arrive at your destination, there’s nothing like a real map to help you get your bearings. Your smartphone may have GPS, but the small screen doesn’t show the big picture and using it while traveling can be costly.

Part map, part curated guide, Red Maps are a lightweight, easy-to-use and beautifully designed solution no city should be explored without. In addition to streets, neighborhoods, and major landmarks, each map features a selection of stores, hotels, restaurants, museums, parks and more carefully curated by a team of travel experts and updated every four to six months. Designer and company founder Jim Leniart has a strict no advertising policy—if it’s on the map, it must be noteworthy.

Made in the USA, Red Maps are matte laminated for water resistance, feature a no glare finish, and are available for 14 American Cities, 11 European cities and also come in gift sets. From the elegant design to the thoughtfully curated points of interest, Red Maps’ attention to detail takes the travel map to all new places.
