great idea but could be better

lack of height ajustibility makes this less than ideal. Also grabber part only works on small items.

Too hard to use grabber function

12/7/2017 by Julie

This is an amazing idea, but the functionality of it needs some work. I purchased this for my Mom. The cane has a button that you push to release the grabber. The release button takes a lot of strength to initiate. The grabber fingers are short and I had problems picking up items. My mom could not open the grabber function and asked me to return it. She has another grabber in the house that has longer grabber fingers and is easy to use. This is what we expected when we ordered this. This would be very challenging to use for someone who has any type of arthritis or loss of strength in their hands or fingersMore > < Less

Doesn’t pick up anything

12/10/2017 by Tommie

I like the cane itself and especially like the hook on it for hanging the cane. However, it does not pick up anything. I’ve tried using it to pick up a piece of paper and it won’t grab hold. Basically useless as a grabber. The vice is too small an opening to be of much use.More > < Less

Snapper Cane: 2-in-1 Grabber Cane

12/29/2018 by Bonnie

Very disappointed. The hook is a good idea, but only if one is not trying to walk while something is on the hook. Otherwise, even a quart of milk will bounce back and forth with each step causing the cane to become difficult to handle. The "grippers" are useless as they don't close fully until they are inside the cane. Good idea, but they need to close around the item and tighten, before they disappear. I would send this back for a full refund, but my 96 year old dad recycled the box before he tried the cane. If I can find something to mail it back in, it will go back!More > < Less

About Snapper Cane

Lean on Me

This reacher-grabber cane not only offers an extra leg, it also offers an extra hand. Its sturdy design has a two pronged grabber built in, so you can pick up fallen objects without bending over.

A button on the handle lets you release and retract the grabber to grasp dropped keys, glasses, and napkins without putting strain on your back. There’s also a removable hook you can hang a purse, bag, keys, or jacket from, or hang the cane itself from, by turning the hook upside down.

Whether you’re going through a quick recovery, or something more long term, Snapper Cane is one to lean on.
