A seasoning challenge.

I've tried four times to season my skillet using flax seed oil. Each time I repeated the process five or six times until the surface looked beautiful...like in your pictures. Unfortunately it fails my critical egg test. The egg sticks and actually pulls off the seasoned surface when you try to clean it after soaking it in water and brushing it with a dish cleaning brush. I'm going to try again using canola oil.More > < Less

i didn't season pan before use - and i think i ruined it. it does not look like your photos. i have seasoned it a few times but i think it is ruined and i am mad at myself - such a beauty of a pan, but i don't know if i can fix it - may have to toss and get another one. ho humMore > < Less
