The Aus-ion steel skillet is heavier than my Lodge steel skillet. The handle does stays cool. My only grip for price, it should have come with a lid and capable of oven temperatures of 400 F.More > < Less

This skillet is wonderful. After several uses with additional oils — it is stick-free and can be seasoned as needed.

My wife and I have been cooking more lately since we started using one of the meal kit delivery companies. We frequently ned a pan that we can use cook on the stove then shift to finish in the oven. I liked the design of the AUS-ION pans and ordered one of the 10" pans. I was easy to season by following the directions. The pan has certainly met my expectations. It sears the meat beautifully and cooks evenly. The handle stays cool while on the stove. Once seasoned properly, the pan is relatively non-stick and easy to clean up. I would recommend the pans to anyone wanting a great pan.More > < Less
