SOLOSOCKS™

Modern Mixers

SOLOSOCKS™ founders and friends Alexander Morabbi Wulsch and Adam Kuskner both come from large families where the task of pairing socks took ages, and missing socks was the norm. After lots of research, they decided to dip their toes into creating a solution. Their idea? One set of seven socks that all look good together, so if one goes missing, you can still make a pair. This also means no more throwing out partner-less solo socks and less time spent pairing. Alexander and Adam also believe life is too short to wear only black socks, so their socks are colorful and feature modern patterns inspired by Danish architecture. (We bet your other socks can’t say the same.) And they are made with soft, organic cotton. We think this set of non-pairs makes for a great-looking ally in the lost-sock struggle.

Quick Questions

Can you explain the concept more?

SOLOSOCKS™ come in a pack of seven single socks. This means that you never need to pair or waste your socks again. If you loose a sock, you don't need to throw another one out. Got a hole in one of your socks? Still no problem.

How should I wash the socks?

Wash in cool/warm water no hotter than 104° Fahrenheit. Lay flat to dry.

What is a hand-linked toe seam?

The toe part on an ordinary sock is usually sewn by a sewing machine, which normally makes the toe seam thicker. Hand-linking is a technique where each single thread on the toe and the sock foot are linked manually. It makes the toe seam flat and comfortable. Usually this work is done by professional workers. The paradox about the manual hand-linking technique is that it can be harmful for the professional workers’ eyes. For SOLOSOCKS™, the Makers have chosen ultra-modern Italian machines that provide machinery hand-linking to avoid the harm but keep the hand-linking quality.

What is the size range of the socks?

The socks come in one size, which fits men's U.S. sizes 7-12.
