Rather Disappointing

10/14/2018 by Mickey

Clever idea but needs some tweaking. First, the magnification mirror is a little small and needs to be a higher power magnification. The mirror material is also difficult to keep clean and smears no matter how carefully you clean it. And the big one - within 4 months my magnification mirror begabpn sliding down the mirror. This began slowly but quickly accelerated until it became unusable. I was forced to go looking for that particular size magnet so the mirror could be usable at all. Bought two just to make sure. Hope this helps you perfect some less than optimal features.More > < Less

I have a problem with this mirror Please tell me if anyone else has a problem with the smaller mirrors staying put on the bigger mirror -- if so - how did you fix it? As soon as I put them on the bigger mirror they immediately slide down. I have returned one thinking it was defective but the replacement did the same thing. Other than that I would love to have this mirror -- it's awesome! Please help!More > < Less

Nice but...

I like the mirror, but I hate having to bend over to use it. I am always looking for something in my room to bring the mirror up to eye level. Also the magnifying mirrors slide down. The magnet isn't strong enough to keep it in place at the top or center. It immediately yet slowly slides to rest at the bottom of the mirrorMore > < Less

Just OK

I wish the light were a tad bit brighter, and also need greater magnification for my old aged eyes!!!

Too small

Although the lights are nice and bright, the mirror itself is just too small. You have to lean in to get your face into the light. So maybe this would work if you only want to use it to put on eyeliner but it doesn't work for the whole face.More > < Less

About Spotlite HD

Your Best Light

Spotlite HD is a makeup mirror with lights that wants you to look your best. Its LED lights mimic daylight so you see a truer, brighter reflection. And because of the mirror's natural-like light, it shows the true color of cosmetics—unlike typical household lights, which are more yellow-y and can mask what your makeup really looks like.

Which is exactly what happened to co-Founder Andrea Alli. When she saw how off-color her makeup looked during a presentation she gave, she was horrified. She called in fellow makeup lover Leah Wright-Williams to help develop a mirror that made it foolproof to get a flawless finish.

The result is a mirror that moves 360 degrees to get the just-right angle, and that has two magnetic magnifiers to help you zero in on the details. It’s scaled for on-the-go use, and is cordless, rechargeable, and has a storage tray and case that makes it perfect for travel, too.
