This full-fledged sugar hair removal system is an age-old, all-natural way of leaving your skin smooth, healthy, and hair-free for longer. Use the prepping powder to absorb oils on the skin. Then apply the sugaring formula and flick away the hair with the included, reusable applicator. Made from just five familiar ingredients—water, lemon, olive oil, and two types of sugar—it’s a gentler way to remove hair than waxing. And to be extra kind to your face, the facial formula has added licorice root to help reduce irritation. Sugar Me Smooth heats up from your skin’s temperature (no need to make it hot like with waxing) and its water-soluble formula is easy to wash off. When you’re done, use the soothing solution for an extra boost of softening.

I found this product difficult to use even after watching the suggested online video demonstration. I'm sure the product is a good one-I just couldn't do it satisfactorily. I wouldn't buy it again.

Response from the Maker:

We are sorry this product didn’t work for you. We are pleased to hear that you did watch the online video demonstration (Instructional Video). While most people are able to master the technique within a few sugaring sessions, it just simply isn’t for everyone. Thanks for giving it a try!

Messy, Unsuccessful Experience

I found this product to be messy, hard to apply smoothly, and difficult to remove cleanly. It did not leave behind smooth, hair-free skin but worked only in patches. Practice did not improve the experience or result. I would not buy it again.

Response from the Maker:

We’re sorry this didn’t work for you. We find that it simple just isn’t for some people. However, the vast majority of people watch our Instructional Video and with a little practice have a successful experience.

I had to toss

Difficult to use. Did not go on easy. Only small patches can be done at once. Response from the Maker: Sorry this product didn’t work forroduct didn’t work for you. While some people are able to pick up the technique very quickly, many people find that it takes several sugaring sessions to master the technique. Once the technique is mastered, large areas can be done quickly. When starting though, it is easier to use a small amount of sugar on a small area.More > < Less

Not what I expected

I was really excited to try this, it looked great in the video. The stuff is so hard I broke the applicator trying to get it out of the jar. Once out it is really hard to spread, but once it softens its just all over and it makes a mess.
I don't know if I just got a bad batch, but I have given up after 3 attempts.

Response from the Maker:

Thanks for giving us a try! It is possible that you could have gotten a bad one and if so, we apologize and would like to get you a good one! As for the sugar being too hard, we recommend letting the jar of sugar sit at room temperature (approximately 72-74 F) for several hours prior to using. Dig the sugar out of the jar and let it sit on the skin for 20-30 seconds to heat naturally to the body. Hopefully you watched the Instructional Video for detailed instructions and tips and tricks.

About Sugar Me Smooth

Sugary Smooth

This Made in the USA sugar hair removal formula is based on a technique that dates all the way back to 1900 BC.

Its gentle recipe is made from all-natural ingredients. Ones you know—like water, lemon, olive oil, and two types of sugar. And to make the recipe for the face version even more gentle, there’s added licorice root to help reduce irritation.

And it’s not wax—in fact, it’s quite different. Sugar Me Smooth heats naturally using your body temperature and its water-soluble formula washes off when you’re done. So it’s less painful, and there is less cleaning up to do.

You apply Sugar Me Smooth against the hair growth, then remove it in quick, flicking motions. It only gets rid of the top layer of dead skin cells—which exfoliates you and also is gentler on skin than waxing.

Maker Michelle Hancey loved getting sugared at the salon and wanted to do it herself without sacrificing quality. Her formula gives you all-natural, salon caliber results at home.
