Diagonal ridges inside, thumbs up!!

by

Got it for my mom, and she’s very happy. I was looking for something not big but at the same time not to small. And this one got my attention because it’s not smooth from inside. The diagonal ridges help to grater the condiments beautifully and the cover it’s very useful too.More > < Less

About Suri

Custom Blend

Imbued with Japanese influence, this porcelain mortar and pestle and ginger grater from Suri was thoughtfully created to handle prep jobs simply and efficiently.

Grind fresh spices, create custom condiment blends, or even mix up dishes like pesto, aioli, or tapenade.

The ceramic bowl, or suribachi, has an unglazed interior with diagonal ridges that help boost the grinding action. And the pestle, or surikogi, is made from peach wood that won’t damage the bowl while it makes quick work out of spices.

We liked that the grater is built into the lid, which helps do the job more easily—and with less mess—than others we’ve tried. And a pouring spout and silicone ring on the bottom of the bowl help keep spills at bay. Elegant and packed with functionality, Suri streamlines prep work with ease.
