I gave one of the wishbones as a Thanksgiving hostess gift. She loved it and placed it in the middle of the table centerpiece. It added a very special touch to the Thanksgiving table.More > < Less

This is such a delicate, beautiful piece. I gave one to my gf for Christmas and she loved it. Not sure who to give the second one to, but am saving it for a special day.More > < Less

Love the symbolism of hope and luck. Also reminds me of breaking the wishbone when we were kids.

Tamara Hensick Designs - Pewter Sculpture or Art Objects

About Tamara Hensick Designs

Inspirational Art

Sometimes an object can convey just what you want to say, in just the right tone. Artist Tamara Hensick has a knack for taking a simple message—saying thank you, for example, or encouraging someone—and giving form to it. Her diminutive sculptures are a little whimsical, which keeps them from seeming too precious. When you see one of her creations, you want to pick it up and handle it, not hide it away for safekeeping.

Each of Tamara's designs is first sculpted in a soft jeweler's wax, then hand-cast in pewter by a family-owned business in California. Tamara, who says her dancing background influences her work, looks for inspiration in everyday life and finds beauty in our imperfections. She uses clever wordplay and symbolism to convey inspirational themes that express just what you want to say when a friend needs cheering up, or you want to encourage someone to stay strong, or you’re celebrating a rite of passage, such as graduation or a new job.

Spoken words are fleeting and easy to forget. But an art object, beautifully crafted with just the right sentiment, can last a lifetime.
