Tech Armor

Screen Protectors & Phone Cases

Scratch Away

Let's face facts: Our small, expensive electronic devices take a beating every day. Stashed in a purse, jammed into jeans' pockets, or left on a sticky counter or dusty desk, your mobile devices are crying out for protection. Tech Armor's defensive line of cases and screen protection has you covered.

Two friends, Joseph Jaconi
and Eric Tong, founded the company on the philosophy, "You play, we protect," and they are fanatical about their product. The sleek skins are easy to install (no bubbles) and boast anti-fingerprint and anti-glare properties. In addition to that, Tech Armor offers a lifetime guarantee.

They even offer a unique line of screen protection made of incredibly thin, hardened glass—an impenetrable surface that will still work as a touchscreen.

Do you have any plans to make Ballistic Glass for the Galaxy SIII?

  • Amy
    10/11/2013 12:16 PM

What about Motorola Electrify. would love to have some of these made.

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 12:36 PM

Hi @Chris -- Unfortunately, we do not make Ballistic Glass for the Galaxy S3. The Galaxy S3 has a curved screen, which really makes it difficult to install and most importantly, stay on the screen long term. I highly recommend that you go with a TPU based Screen Protector. They tend to adhere better to the surface of the S3.

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 12:38 PM

@Amy -- Thanks for the comment! We are absolutely looking into this, but have currently not released any Tech Armor products for the Motorola Electrify.

What about iPhone 4s and ipad?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 12:31 PM

Hey @Val -- As of now we do not carry any Cases or Ballistic Glass for the iPhone 4S and iPad.

  • Tillie
    10/11/2013 12:51 PM

I would be interested in the ballistic glass and case for the iPhone 4S as well!

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:18 PM

Hi @Tillie -- Thank you so much for this feedback! The Pro Series DuraClear was our solution for not releasing Ballistic Glass for iPhone 4S. Next time we work w/ The Grommet, we will include a product for iPhone 4S, since there have been several mentions so far.

  • Robin
    10/11/2013 1:47 PM

@Joseph I would be interested in the Ballistic glass and case for my IPhone 4S too!

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 2:02 PM

@Robin -- Thanks for the feedback. Although Tech Armor doesn't carry cases & Ballistic Glass for iPhone 4S, The Grommet or I will be in contact w/ you upon our next deal. I think it's safe to say that we offer some of our products that support iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S. Thanks for the comments!

  • Karen

    10/11/2013 12:40 PM

Joseph - Do you have a Ballistic Glass piece for the LG Optimus G Pro?? If not, any plans to have it?? Thanks!

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:03 PM

Hey @Marcel -- Thanks for the question... Currently, we do not. We carry Ballistic Glass for iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPad Mini, and Galaxy S4. We have gotten quite a few requests for the LG Optimus G Pro, but in truth, I do not believe we launch Ballistic Glass for LG until after the Holiday Season.

    10/11/2013 12:53 PM

Will your Galaxy S4 Screen Protector work for a Galaxy Note 3 (aka 4G LTE)?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:49 PM

Hey @Leland -- The Ballistic Glass for Galaxy S4 will not fit the new Galaxy Note 3. The dimensions are different between the two devices. The Galaxy Note 3 = 5.95 x 3.12 x 0.33 inches & The Galaxy S4 = 5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 inches. I hope this helps!

  • Tammy
    10/11/2013 1:08 PM

Do you have any for Pantech phones? Would really be interested.

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 2:11 PM

Hey @Tammy -- Tech Armor currently does not offer any Screen Protectors or Cases for the Pantech line. This is something we have discussed internally, but wouldn't implement until after the Holiday Season.

I have the KindleFire HD 8.9 Any covers in the future for my KindleFire?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:31 PM

Hey There @Jennifer -- We absolutely protect this device and we will speak w/ the great folks at The Grommet to release this for our next offer. I will make sure either The Grommet, or I, contact you once we have this offering up and running!

  • Natasha
    10/11/2013 1:21 PM

    What about Droid DNA?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 2:14 PM

Hi There @Natasha -- For this deal, we are not offering any of our solutions for the Droid Line (MAXX, ULTRA, MINI, DNA, etc.). We will, without a doubt, bring all of you a more diversified offering for our next deal w/ The Grommet. If/When this deal launches, we will have someone contact you!

  • Michelle
    10/11/2013 1:22 PM

I am thinking this would be a great cover for my dining room table! I hate putting a pad and a cloth over to protect the wood and then not see the beautiful wood! Please let me know if this is ever a possibility!

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:41 PM

Hi @Michelle -- Wow! I don't believe we have received this request before, but it is compelling nonetheless. Maybe if the demand for Mobile, Tablet, and eReader device protection falters, you can be our Product Manager to get us into this field ;)

    10/11/2013 1:24 PM

How about the Motorola Droids, razr, Maxx, HD...Not everyone uses iPhones, as a reseller of phones there is a HUGE market for Motos phone cases, and good screen protectors, its all junk or Otterbox

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 1:37 PM

Hey @Guest -- We definitely offer protection for these devices and I completely agree that the market is very large for the MAXX, ULTRA, MINI, and Moto X. For our next offering we will work closely w/ The Grommet to ensure we release a more diversified offering. Feel free to sign-up for The Grommet and either they, or I, will be able to contact you directly when we launch our next deal.

Do you make this for I Phone 4S

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 2:08 PM

@Guest -- Unfortunately, Tech Armor does not offer cases or Ballistic Glass for the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. The demand is fairly high to justify doing another deal that cover our other Screen Protectors for iPhone 4S, though. Be on the lookout for this offer in the future!

  • Paul
    10/11/2013 3:30 PM

I have spent so much money on screen protectors that don't work. Most have bubbles in them, how about your product?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 4:00 PM

Hey @Paul -- Great question because it is why we started Tech Armor. We were frustrated ourselves with the other products out there, so we created a solution. So, I would be lying if I told you that 100% of our customers never have an issue w/ bubbles. With that said, here are Tech Armor's value propositions:

    1. We have a Lifetime Replacement Warranty on all of our Screen Protectors that cover installation errors or wear to our products;

    2. For the Ballistic Glass it has 7 Layers and one of those layers is a bubble-free adhesive;

    3. The Ballistic Glass is .4 mm thick and the DuraClear is .25 mm thick -- Basically, the thicker a screen protector is, the lesser chance you will have of getting those nasty bubbles during an install;

    4. Each Package comes w/ Instructions/Tools to reduce the Bubbles, we have Step-By-Step Install Videos on our YouTube Channel, and customer service reps., to guide you through the process.

I hope this helps and if you have any additional questions do not hesitate to ask!

Any plans to make this available for 7 and 10 inch tablets.... not just iPad?

  • Joseph
    10/11/2013 4:55 PM

Hey @jd -- First off, Happy Friday! We have had a great experience w/ The Grommet and when we do another launch of products, we are committed to varying our product line. Please comment on what type of device you currently own and I will make sure you are contacted for our next deal.

    Hi B,

Aaron from The Grommet here. Yes, they certainly can. The protection screens are meant to be an extension of the iPad and will allow you to use the device and touch screen as normal.

  • Aaron
    10/12/2013 5:06 PM

Hi Jody and everyone who has requested particular devices. Some good news, we are adding two devices to the Pro-Series offering: the iPhone 4/4s and Samsung Galaxy S3.

Unfortunately, Tech Armor does not currently produce covers for some of the requested devices for the Ballistic Glass and Pro-Series, but we will be sure to add them if/when they become available.

The launch day conversation has ended. Please direct further questions about this Grommet to our Community Experience Team.
