Screen Cleaner & Microfiber Sponges

Clean swipe

Our phones and electronic devices keep us connected to friends, loved ones and the world around us. Unfortunately, they also connect us to the dirt and harmful germs that lurk within, on top and basically, all over them. Because they are rarely cleaned, our mobiles can harbor more bacteria than a public restroom. Ewww.

Not to worry, AM Company has been cleaning electronics since 1971, when vinyl records were the rage. Back then, their mission was to keep grime off records and cassettes, for crisp, static free
sound. Today, they clean and sanitize phones, laptops, tablets and computers instead.

Mist is an all-in-one microfiber cloth and gentle cleaning spray that kills up to 99% of bacteria, without harsh chemicals or abrasives. Perfect for sensitive gadgets and delicate skin, Mist will not harm either, even with repeated use. The Minis are microfiber sponges that wipe off grime, dust and fingerprints with one swipe and are small enough to reach even tight, germ laden corners.

Together these products keep your gadgets, and you, clean and healthy.

    Hi Everyone!

I am here filling in for the team at AM today. I am super excited to share the MIST with you today, it's my new favorite gadget to keep my cell phone clean. I like the MIST because it combines the cleaning solution and microfiber shammy into one product, but the MINIS are also great when I just want to wipe fingerprints off my screen throughout the day without a solution. I am here if you have any questions!

Since most of our screens have film protectors over them, can this product be used on them, or just on actual screens?

    Hi Renate,

Yes, they can absolutely be used on the protective covers. Most phones do have them (or should) so it's not an issue. Good question.

Hi. Does the cleaning solution kill/inactivate viruses? Thanks!

    Hi Thomas,

The solution keeps the phone free of viruses and kills 99.9 % of common household bacteria that is already present. I will work on finding out more about specifics regarding viruses and get back to you with more information.

But do you clean the microfibre outside?

    Hi Charlene,

Thank you for your question. I have been using the Mist for a few weeks now and you can wash the microfiber outside with a little bit of hot water and leave it out to dry.

Hi, I love that this product appears to be much more portable than other screen cleaners (which are usually large packages of wipes, or big cans or bottles). I do have a question about scent. I share an office with a co-worker who is extremely sensitive to chemical scents. Does this item have a strong ammonia scent, or heavy artificial fragrance? Thanks!

    Hi Lisa and Charlene,

Apologies for any delay here. In terms of scent, we didn't notice any particular scent when we tested it. It's pretty neutral.

What is the active ingredient in the screen cleaner and how does one clean the sponge?

    Hi there,

If you scan just above, Meredith answered how to clean the sponge for someone else who had the same question. You can always find information on the details portion which you'll find when you click into the product where it says "buy". For active ingredients, you'll see it says that the solution contains 5% anionic surfactant and doesn't not contain alcohol or other aggressive chemicals.

@Amy Sorry for the bother. I overlooked the mention of hot water to clean the microfiber. I did look at the details before I posted the question about the ingredients. "5% anionic surfactant" simply means that 5% of the solution is a cleaning agent. It does not say what the cleaning agent is.

Where is the Mist made? I'm trying to "buy American"as much as possible.
