Partitioned, foldable, and durable mesh basket. Lightweight and super sturdy with handles for front or side carrying. Three compartments.

  • Constructed from super-sturdy, heavy duty, open-weave fabric. Lightweight and see-through
  • Care: Coated mesh fabric is dirt- and moisture-resistant and can be washed in a sink, basin, or bathtub using soap and water, or hosed off on a patio. A front loading washing machine may be used, but should not be necessary. Do not use a top loading washing machine with an agitator, as the basket may get caught on the agitator
  • Stands upright without a rigid frame, supported by the heavy fabric and edge binding and the basket contents. Doesn't use the awkward automatic spring pop-up frame
  • Sewn-in fabric partition organizes contents
  • Easy-grip handles allow one or two handed carry
  • Comes in three colors (black, teal green and royal blue)
  • Can be used for laundry, toys, books, camping, recyclables, car trunks and more
  • Dimensions: 27" x 17" x 14"
  • Weight: 1.25 lbs.

I use it for grocery shopping

5/30/2017 by Cris

I know that it's supposed to be for moving laundry around but I use it for shopping at Aldi. As you may or may not know, Aldi doesn't provide any bags to put groceries in unless you buy them from the store (.10 each). So I put my bag in the cart and as I pick up my groceries I put them inside the three compartment bag, at check out I empty the purchases on the treadmill, the empty bag gets transferred to the new buggy the cashiers loads me up and off I go to the truck and later home. Granted sometimes the bag gets a little heavy but the multiple handles help a lot even if I wind up dragging it all the way to the kitchen. When not in use, Sweetie, our cat likes to cat nap in it!More > < Less

I use the triple compartment version for the laundromat. It makes going up & down stairs a lot safer too.

Easy to Carry

10/4/2016 by Liz

These are much easier to carry than hard plastic baskets, and you don't have to struggle to get through a door with them since they flex. I usually fold clothes downstairs and then carry them upstairs. I bought 2 of them, and my aching back appreciates their light weight. The only drawback is that I need a bigger compartment to hold jeans, but I think those are available for sale on another site. So I'll probably go buy a couple of those.More > < Less

Love this!

My goal was to get rid of my laundry baskets and now I have. With this better basket I am able to sort my clothes downstairs without any problem. Having had two knee replacements I like to keep one hand on the stair rail and this basket has allowed me to do that. It's very sturdy and I love the pocket.More > < Less

About The BetterBasket

No More Drastic Plastic

Anyone who has tried navigating stairs and narrow hallways carrying a full laundry basket knows how unwieldy the hard plastic baskets can be. Tom Goth, a plastics expert and father of two, decided to do something about it after tripping too many times and cracking too many laundry baskets. His invention is called the BetterBasket.

The BetterBasket is great for laundry, toys, sports equipment, recycling items and whatever else you need to tote or store. It’s made from a woven mesh fabric that’s intentionally see-through so you can watch where you’re walking (fewer stubbed toes). We really like that it’s flexible, but not flimsy. The fabric and binding are sturdy enough to keep it upright when you’ve got a few items in it. Another useful feature is the built-in partition for separating items. The 27-inch basket has three compartments, and the 20-inch basket has two compartments.

Four sturdy straps allow for one-handed carrying, so you can tote your stuff and grab a handrail or hold a child’s hand at the same time. And when you’re not using it, the BetterBasket folds flat for easy storage. But we’re guessing you won’t be putting it away very often.
