Great idea

Holds the wine you are giving and is a great gift! Went over very well when presented.

Great gift

I like the design and the materials used. Opening a single bottle is not intuitive and at first seems to be a design flaw. But the video explains it well. Unfortunately I could not include the vid in the gift packages I sent.More > < Less

cool and fun

Nicely made, and I use it to display wine on a sideboard in the dining room. I'd also use it when taking a bottle to a party. I like the raw pine finish - it's just the right touch. But this rack is clever, nicely made, sturdy and the hardware on it is great.More > < Less

Great way to store wine bottles. Lots of versatility, depending on how many bottles I have at the time. Item as described. Quick delivery.

Bought for a gift

Liked the idea for someone with a small space. However, the wood was rough, so had to sand lightly. Wasn’t comfortable giving unfinished piece so stained to match recipients taste.More > < Less

Rackpack - Convertible Wine Box

About Rackpack

House wine

Reminiscent of a wooden birdhouse, the Rackpack is a wine box and storage rack in one.

Made of pine by an Amsterdam-based design group called KnowIdea, the Rackpack makes a great alternative to wine gift bags.

In addition to helping your bottle stand apart from other host and hostess gifts, the Rackpack can be transformed from a carrier to a wooden wine rack with the simple flip of a few hinges. It can be reconfigured several different ways for storing three, six, or even 12 bottles of wine.
