Imagine, Build, Repeat

OgoSport develops fun, flexible toys that inspire creativity, encourage active play, and lead to lots of experimentation and problem-solving. And best of all? They do it without screens, batteries or controllers. That’s critical to the original founders of OgoSport, Rick Goodwin and Kevin Williams, who were committed from the beginning to making toys for all ages that foster open-ended exploration. We’re featuring two brand new OgoSport sets that look very different from each other but share the same core construction element: OgoSport’s bouncy rubber ball joint. It has sockets that you can plug with all sorts of funky attachments and structural connectors. The OgoBild Pod set includes 12 BILD balls and 30 ball-to-ball connectors that can be assembled into flexible structures such as forts, rockets and cars. Throw a sheet over one of your structures and it’s an instant personal tent. The OgoBild Nexus set enables more sculptural creations. You can combine the 4 BILD balls and 95 attachments in any arrangement you can think up, creating robots, creatures, and unpredictably bouncy balls with crazy appendages. All the attachments are interchangeable, so kids (and you!) can set your imagination free and just start creating.

I bought the pod for my daughter (7 yo) and my niece (10 yo) and was very happy with how they received it. My daughter had been asking for leggos and she also wanted a tent to play in so when I saw the pod I knew it would be perfect. From the minute I gave them the toy they were completely preoccupied. They helped each other build a fort, complete with a sheet to cover, and accessories from the nexxus set as accessories. Then they made a competition out of it to see whose "house" was better. They even got the dog in on it, dubbing her the judge (which ever "house" she chose to sleep in was the winner). This product is definitely money well spent. They played with the pod right up until it was time for bed, and even convinced me to allow them to sleep in their creations. Its easy assembly and clean up, and was the perfect distraction for my active child. I recommend it to all!

@Mary Kate Cowell: I know! I was actually really surprised to see them incorporate the pieces and attachments from the nexxus. It hadn't even occurred to me to do that so it was a pleasant surprise! They actually used the other pieces as a doorbell, doorknob and other accessories.

@Kathleen Olsen: Hey kathleen, good inquiry. We recommend the build line for children 6+. However, with the pod children as young as 3 can play with it because it is a toy that utilizes the imagination as opposed to skills.

@Joyce: Valid Concern! Fortunately the pod was safety approved for 3+ and the smallest piece is the rubber ball, so with adult supervision that shouldn't be a concern. Im sure your twins will have an awesome time with this product.

Can you tell me the dimensions of each box, and the weight please? I'd like to send to my nephews in Scotland for Xmas, but will depend on how much it will cost to mail them. Or do you have a UK distributor? Thank you.
