This three-pack of Swedish dishcloths will keep you wiping, cleaning, and scrubbing for over a year. That’s because each cloth lasts for about six months. They're reusable, washable, and biodegradable—and work better than their disposable counterpart, the paper towel.

  • Materials: 70% cellulose, 30% cotton
  • Care: The cloths can be cleaned in a few ways: place in top rack of the dishwasher, microwave for 2-3 minutes, sterilize in boiling water, or place in the washing machine and dryer. Note that the dryer may cause shrinkage. The cloths are also bleach safe
  • Includes three biodegradable cleaning cloths
  • Special weave absorbs 16 times its weight
  • Eco-friendly alternative to paper towels and sponges
  • 100% biodegradable. Breaks down within 6 weeks in home compost, 16 weeks in a commercial landfill

  • Biodegradable paint lasts for the life of the cloth
  • Does not leave behind streaks on glass

These cloths are pretty to look at hanging in the kitchen. They absorb well and scrub pots easily. I bought some as a gift for a friend who likes them as well.More > < Less

About Wet-It!

Pride of Sweden

Wet-It! Swedish dishcloths do the jobs you typically use paper towels for, but they do it way, way better—and using a cloth is better for the environment, too.

The cloths are made from a combination of cotton and cellulose that is so absorbent, it makes paper towels green with envy. One cloth can absorb about the same as six (yes, six) paper towels, and it can be washed and reused over and over for up to six months. (The paper towels just threw themselves out in despair.)

Pop a cloth in the dishwasher, microwave, or washing machine to sanitize it. And when it’s time to finally toss it out, the biodegradable cloths can go into the compost bin—not the trash can.

Wet-It! founder Mathilda Davies grew up in Sweden where this type of cloth is common, but in America we’re more likely to reach for a paper towel. We think this Swedish import is a smart replacement for its more wasteful counter top counterpart.
