NOT for romaine I guess

10/18/2016 by cheryl

So excited when I received these--did everything according to the directions, happily put 2 heads of romaine leaves inside, kept the bag damp like directed, went to make a salad some days later and...wilty floppy romaine...returning. Back to ziploc bags I go.
These bags may work great for other veggies, but NOT for lettuce, which was my intent.

Does not seem to work as advertised

12/5/2015 by John

The idea sounded good and I thought I was following the directions, but my spinach was more wilted in the bag than in a plastic clamshell, my carrots and broccoli were limp, my zucchini got moldy. I'll keep trying but I can't endorse the product so far.More > < Less

Stored lettuce which wilted and rotted after several days.

Disappointed

11/19/2015 by Carol

I was so excited to get my vegibag. However, it certainly did not operate as advertised. My salad greens turned yellow by second day. I put it away and will probably throw it away sometime in the future.More > < Less

Not satisfided

11/19/2015 by Dena

I am sorry to say that this did not perform very well for me.I put asparagus in the bag and 3 to 4 days later removed it to prepare it for a meal. I was very upset to discover it was all slimy. I am not sure as to what went wrong. Do you have any comments or
suggestions?

Say goodbye to slimy produce.

About Vejibag

Organic Crisper

Organic gardener Sally Erickson couldn’t bear the thought of selling her homegrown greens in plastic bags. She knew that fresh produce needs humidity, so Sally created the Vejibag. This ingenious vegetable bag keeps produce crisp and fresh longer.

The Vejibag is made of 100% organic American materials. The cotton is grown in the southern U.S. and sewn by hand in North Carolina. The resulting fabric is beautiful, breathable, and easy to clean. Add just a bit of moisture to the bag every few days and watch your veggies thrive.

Carrots stay crunchy, kale stays crisp, more plastic stays out of our landfills, and more U.S. workers find pride in contributing to a healthier planet. There really is much more in this vegetable bag than just produce.
