About Vilmain

Present Positive

Vilmain, a Rhode Island company, specializes in inspirational pewter designs for the home or office. Each piece is handmade with 100% lead-free, solid cast pewter in simple, geometrically-inspired designs.

Judy Vilmain followed a little inspiration herself when she founded her company. She was a Midwestern college professor when she decided a life change was in order. Drawing on her family history of craftsmanship as well as her desire to work with her hands, she moved to Rhode Island, a state with a legacy in jewelry-making and metal working, and started Vilmain. So, there is genuine inspiration in her messages and in her designs.

The presentation begins before you even open the box, which is embossed with a message that hints at what’s inside. Each piece is neatly nestled inside. Top to bottom, these designs are specimens of pure craftsmanship and simple good looks.
