Carved Sphere Candle

$20 More on the way

Handcrafted in Bali, these carved candles showcase the intricate craftsmanship of the local artisans. But don’t worry about lighting them—they burn inward, so the textured surface stays intact. It’s made from locally sourced bees and palm wax, so it burns cleaner, too, without any soot, smoke, or fragrance. When the wick is done, pop a tea light in to use it as a luminary.

  • Materials: Beeswax and palm wax
  • Care: For best results always trim lead-free wick to 1/4" prior to lighting and do not burn for more than 3 hours. Extinguish and allow to cool before re-lighting
  • Handcrafted, intricately carved design
  • Clean burning, soot-free
  • Inward burning construction
  • Can be used as tea light luminary after wick is burned through
  • Warning: Place lit candle on heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts around open flame. Never leave burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable items including fabric. Discontinue use and discard when 1/4" of wax remains. Remove all labels before burning
  • Made in Indonesia
  • Dimensions: 4" D
  • Weight: 0.84 lb.

Makes you feel like you have a bouquet of roses on your table

Pink - beautiful!

Purchased the pink, it is lovely. Perfectly formed, carefully packaged. Lovely presentation.

I bought 2 of these as gifts & I'm tempted to keep one. The intricate carving is beautiful. My friend didn't want to burn it but I told her how it will just burn down the center to be used later as a votive holder & she was thrilled.More > < Less

About Volcanica Candles

Inward Burning

The secret to these carved candles looking pristine, even after being lit? They’re designed to burn inwardly, keeping the detailed surface intact.

Artisans in Tegalalang sustainably hand craft these intricate candles. It’s an area of Bali known for its thriving artist community and considered the artistic heart of Indonesia. Founder Sahiba Sarna Krieger’s family has roots there, and wanted to support the local artists who are carrying on the region’s tradition of woodcarving.

They use locally-sourced bees and palm wax, which burns more cleanly than regular wax. Not only is it soot- and smoke-free, it’s fragrance-free, too.

When lit, the candles cast a soft glow through the carved surface. And when the wick burns down, pop a tea light inside to continue enjoying its lovely design.
