Tough and Secure!

11/26/2016 by Megan

I bought myself the Ultra Fitness Gloves with yoga in mind. I frequently slip in Downward Dog and have had issues with injured and weak wrists.
These gloves made a major difference the first time I tried them! I was able to adjust the Velcro strap tightness so that my injured wrist could have more support than my normal one. There was no slipping, and there was a marked a sense of pain during certain poses.
I also plan to wear these when I lift weights (aside from my body), as they are now workout staples for me!
The fit is excellent, and my only comfort qualm is that the tag on one of them digs into my skin when I have tightened support.

Great Gloves

Very thick padding on palms...may hinder grip, however. I use for bike riding.

Love them!

I have been looking for a glove to help my wrist. The gel pad in the palm area is the perfect solution. I can do planks and push ups without pain.More > < Less

Great support

1/22/2016 by Mary

I love these well made padded gloves. They really do take pressure off the wrist and provide needed support for those with hand and wrist problems. I have arthritis and wearing these gloves in my yoga class and during gym workouts really makes a difference. They aren't cheap but they are worth it.More > < Less

Great gloves - totally delivered as promised

11/23/2015 by MaryAnn

The gloves are great. I have osteoarthritis quite severely and am unable to place my hands flat on the floor. I use weights during my classes of total body, pilates and barre to help curl my hands rather than laying them flat. These gloves although not miracles, really help with pressure to my palms from the weights and surprisingly help steady my wrists as well. Well made and I definitely recommend them.More > < Less

About Wrist Assured Gloves

Wrist Assist

A little extra support goes a long way when you’re doing weight-bearing exercises that can strain your wrists.

After a soccer accident made certain yoga moves uncomfortable for Paula Wilbert, she searched for a product that would give her the wrist support she needed. When she couldn’t find one, Paula—who’s an occupational therapist—created her own. She experimented with different materials and teamed with a seamstress, Judy Lawson, to fashion a glove around the ergonomic gel pad she designed. The result is WAGs (Wrist Assured Gloves).

The heart of WAGs is Paula’s anatomically contoured gel wedge that’s inserted into the palm. The gel pad supports your hand and wrist as you move through yoga, Pilates, and other fitness sequences. It has a V-shaped cutout to avoid compressing the median nerve, which transverses the wrist, and a non-slip exterior to provide added stability.

There are three styles that provide varying levels of wrist support. Pro is Paula’s original glove, featuring the ergonomically designed gel pad. Ultra combines the same contoured gel pad with an elastic wrist wrap for extra support, and Flex is a cross-training style with a slimmer gel pad for a wider range of activities, including cycling and strength training.

If you don’t want wrist pain to slow you down when you’re on a long bike ride, or distract you when you’re doing yoga or lifting weights, try WAGs. Relief is in the palm of your hand.
