Just what I was looking for ..

2/7/2014 by Sunny

These gloves are really nice. I needed stability for my weakening wrists, and padding for my hands. I had tried some of the weight lifting gloves to help with wrist stability, but they were bulky and thick, so it was hard for me to grip weights and just made my fingers sore. The WAGs are lightweight and flexible, but the strap around the wrist is enough for added stability. And since the fabric is thin and flexible around the fingers, I don't have to take my rings off - I use them for weight lifting class, doing planks and pushups, and some yoga balancing moves. Highly recommend these gloves.More > < Less

ultra fitness gloves

11/1/2013 by Janice

I ordered the extra small and they fit well and give wrist great support. Much easier to do down dog and plank now. The only slight problem is the fingers slip some. They were pricey, so I hope they last.More > < Less

4 out of 5

I have used these gloves a couple of times and can definitely feel a difference in being able to do exercises that bear weight on the fleshy pad part of my thumbs where I get a lot of pain. I feel they are a bit expensive and I am concerned that they will last as long as I hope they do, but I do try to remove them from the wrist rather than pull at the unfinished part of the fingers. I am happy I purchased them.More > < Less

Problem with surface of one glove

2/17/2014 by Ellen

I am disabled and use my hands to support myself with two canes and a walker. My palms are calloused and get a lot of wear and tear. These are great! The pad is exactly where my callouses are and the wrist support is helpful for stress in my wrists- an ongoing issue. HOWEVER, the surface of one of the gloves is flaking and peeling off. I will have to see how well the Grommet return and fix it service is. Will keep you all posted.
Great product if they correct the issue. A bit spendy

Alleviates pain, but not put together well.

6/25/2013 by JoAnn

I purchased these for my daughter who uses them in cheer for tumbling. They have helped her reduce her pain so much, but now, after ten or fifteenifteen uses, the velcro strap is almost unraveled off of the left glove.
I would like to be sent a new one, XS, because I don't think I should have to sew and repair an item that cost $65 and hasn't been used roughly or much.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

About Wrist Assured Gloves

Wrist Assist

A little extra support goes a long way when you’re doing weight-bearing exercises that can strain your wrists.

After a soccer accident made certain yoga moves uncomfortable for Paula Wilbert, she searched for a product that would give her the wrist support she needed. When she couldn’t find one, Paula—who’s an occupational therapist—created her own. She experimented with different materials and teamed with a seamstress, Judy Lawson, to fashion a glove around the ergonomic gel pad she designed. The result is WAGs (Wrist Assured Gloves).

The heart of WAGs is Paula’s anatomically contoured gel wedge that’s inserted into the palm. The gel pad supports your hand and wrist as you move through yoga, Pilates, and other fitness sequences. It has a V-shaped cutout to avoid compressing the median nerve, which transverses the wrist, and a non-slip exterior to provide added stability.

There are three styles that provide varying levels of wrist support. Pro is Paula’s original glove, featuring the ergonomically designed gel pad. Ultra combines the same contoured gel pad with an elastic wrist wrap for extra support, and Flex is a cross-training style with a slimmer gel pad for a wider range of activities, including cycling and strength training.

If you don’t want wrist pain to slow you down when you’re on a long bike ride, or distract you when you’re doing yoga or lifting weights, try WAGs. Relief is in the palm of your hand.
