very absorbent

We have a tile kitchen floor and if any water spills then it is very slippery, especially for my toddler. It used to be that I wiped up the spills with paper towel or cloth, and the floor was still slippery. This thing is great at absorbing all of the water so that the floor is dry and safe to walk on.More > < Less

Cleaning cloth

I have just moved and these cloths are worth their weight in gold, can be used on any and all surfaces and wash clean quickly.

This definitely will help break the habit of using paper towels.

It's so pretty, I hate to get it dirty. But I can then rinse it out and re-use it. When you soak it in water, it really thickens up -- nice! Interestingbr />
Interesting that the manufacturers had to print how many different ways you can use it on the towel itself.

Too stff

I hate this product. I thought it would get softer when wet but it got a little softer but not enough to help dry things. No flexibility and when it dries it get as stiff as a board again.More > < Less

About Wet-It!

Pride of Sweden

Wet-It! Swedish dishcloths do the jobs you typically use paper towels for, but they do it way, way better—and using a cloth is better for the environment, too.

The cloths are made from a combination of cotton and cellulose that is so absorbent, it makes paper towels green with envy. One cloth can absorb about the same as six (yes, six) paper towels, and it can be washed and reused over and over for up to six months. (The paper towels just threw themselves out in despair.)

Pop a cloth in the dishwasher, microwave, or washing machine to sanitize it. And when it’s time to finally toss it out, the biodegradable cloths can go into the compost bin—not the trash can.

Wet-It! founder Mathilda Davies grew up in Sweden where this type of cloth is common, but in America we’re more likely to reach for a paper towel. We think this Swedish import is a smart replacement for its more wasteful counter top counterpart.
