Awesome!

5/29/2017 by Stacey

I'm loving this! It's smaller than it appears in the pictures, but the bees will love it, I'm sure! It's nestled in amongst my hummingbird garden, and I have a bee water dish there, too - a pie plate with rocks in it and the water only up to the top of the rocks. Bees can drink and won't drown!More > < Less

Fascinating!

I live on the southern East coast. Hung my hive as soon as it arrived. Within two weeks there was a cell filled and "mudded over" That> That didn't take long! this is going to be a popular addition to my back yard!More > < Less

I got this as a treat for myself. It is beautiful and well made. It sits at the bottom of the garden where I hope it will be home to many happy bees.More > < Less

Broken

12/24/2018 by Michelle

This was s gift for my boss so you can imagine the disappointment when she opened it & one of the “feet” was broken off. It looked as if one of the screws didn’t go into the bottom of the hive & the other was stripped so did not hold.

The rest of the construction seemed sturdy and overall looked like a good product. Recommend better inspection of final product, & better packaging.

Great gift for a bee loving friend

6/28/2017 by Valerie

Although I expected the beehive to be small, it was very well made and smelled wonderful. The copper plate on the roof adds a nice look overall. My friend was thrilled with it and immediately put it near her flower garden. This is my fourth experience ordering from The Grommet and it was as pleasant as ever; from the easy ordering process to the timely delivery.

Thanks Grommet Team!

Should you open an Air Bee and Bee?

About Wildlife World

Air Bee ‘n Bee

Put a hotel—or two—in your yard. Attract beneficial insects and animals into your local ecology with these beautifully designed habitat houses.

The folks at Wildlife World put a lot of thought and care into their designs, testing out everything from their bat boxes to butterfly habitats on a 35-acre farm in the UK. Each one is sustainably built, with timber that’s FSC certified and sourced from well-managed forests and other elements (like plastic or metal) that’s recycled.

Each little habitat doesn’t just look adorable, it also suits the needs of its guests while helping out your surroundings. Bees and butterflies pollinate, which helps keep your garden lush; while bats and frogs ward off pests.

Besides all those benefits, these critter homes are filled with learning opportunities, too. Scientific concepts like “pollination” and “the food chain” are way less abstract when you can see them come to life and point them out in nature . . . better yet, in your own yard.
