Not perfect

8/24/2017 by Susan

The basic idea is great and is wonderful for my back. However, I can't seem to get what's left on the brush by scraping it across the grooves on the dust pan. Also, the electromagnetic charge seems to transfer to the pan so I have a hard time getting everything out and into the garbage pail. Maybe I'm doing it wrong; if so any suggestions would be appreciated.

From the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  When I use my comb to get the dog hair and debris off I have to scape it a couple times through the teeth. There is a natural static charge on the bristles that many people including myself seem to like because it picks up everything in its path.  I just tap mine on the side of the trash can and it comes off.

Broom worked great

7/7/2017 by Natalie

The actual broom works so great! It gets everything. But the dust pan is another story. It sucks. I can't get it to go in while using my foot like it advertises. Some of it will go in, but not all. I have to keep moving the pan around, and get more and more in there, but it does not make a seal with the floor and everything does not go in there. It is very difficult.

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  I am sorry you are having trouble with your WISP pan.  Make sure you applying firm pressure to the pan with your foot as your WISPing (you can put quite a bit of pressure on it).  That will give a tight seal to the floor.  Please refer to the video on our website if you have any further questions.

Sweeps Perfectly

6/14/2017 by Carol

This the best broom as far as sweeping and sweeping into the dustpan. I use mine indoors on my hardwood floors when my dogs bring in little pieces of grass/etc. in on their paws. The only problem I have with it is once you've swept everything into the dust pan and try to dump it in the trash the stuff in the dust pan sticks in the pan. I have to get a damp piece of paper towel to wipe out the stuff in it. It's all dry things nothing wet. I feel it's because of the material of the bristles on the broom and the plastic of the dust pan that make static in the pan and the stuff sticks to it. I thought I might try and run a dryer sheet on the dust pan to eliminate the static. If it wasn't for that I would give it rating of 5 instead of 3.

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  There is a static charge that builds up from the Electrostatic Bristles that can occasionally transfer to the WISPpan.  I usually just tap mine on the side of the trash can and it comes off.  Thank you for choosing WISP!

Great BUT!

6/12/2017 by Mary Ellen

Love this combination and the ability to hang on the back of my door. Broom works just as advertised as does the dust pan. Hubby thought I was crazy when I make this purchase, but it is a great addition to housecleaning equipment. My only criticism is that it is sooooo hard to get the dust pan connected to the broom in order to store. Whatever the "trick" is, it has totally eluded both my husband and me. When we get it connected it's almost like an accident. You might want to re-visit that issue.

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  There are letters on the pan and the WISP itself that will line up together to help guild you.  The bristles should be facing upward to protect them.  Make sure you place the leading edge of the WISP into the WISPpan and then snap the handle down into place. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns if its not lining up correctly.

Works....but am I too tall?

6/9/2017 by Maria Isabel

I received my WISP broom and dustpan set and thought it was going to be perfect. Unfortunately once I started using it I realized that the handle, although adjustable, is not quite long enough for me! It is about 6" -8" shorter than my other brooms so I don't feel like I have the right grip height when
I am sweeping.
I will still use it and the foot supported dustpan is a great idea...but it is not as comfortable as I hoped it would be.

Response from the Maker:

Thank you for your feedback.  The WISP is not held like a traditional broom with both hands, instead you use a one-handed pushing or pulling motion with the handle.  I am 5'11 and the WISP is perfect for me. We have videos on our website if you want to see the proper way to WISP.  Thank you for choosing WISP!

A whole new take on the dustpan and broom.

About WISP

Spotless Sweep

This household essential just got a sweeping makeover.

WISP’s one-handed broom is armed with dense, short bristles that stay flush to the floor. And the bristles are electrostatic, too, so they’ll attract pet hair, dirt, and even glass into its foot-controlled, hands-free dustpan. It’s thorough, which means fewer passes with the broom.

Eben Dobson is an avid golfer (nicknamed “Wisp” for his small stature and fluid swing) who designed his first prototype to pick debris off of a golf course. It worked so well that he decided to retool it for indoors, corralling dirt off of difficult surfaces (e.g. carpets, tiles, wood, furniture).

The dustpan creates a tight seal against the ground, so you’ll sweep into, not under it. And Eben even thought to tackle smaller jobs, with the mini WISP. It’s small enough to fit in a glove compartment or office drawer for on-the-go cleaning.

Whatever you’re keeping clean, WISP will help you do a faster, easier, more complete job.
