    @Drew Hi Drew, not yet... If this goes well we are definitely considering it. Thanks for your question!

    @ANDREA Yes you can put them in the washing machine, but please let them air dry. Overnight is generally a good enough time. Thanks for your question Andrea :)

    I wear a 7. Do these shoes run big? Should I order a S or M?

  • Julie

    5/10/2017 11:03 AM

    @Anne Hi Anne, Because the shoes span a range of sizes, they can run larger on some people. Here's the breakdown: S 5.5-6.5, M 7-8, L 8.5-9.5, XL 10-11. Hope that helps!

    @Julie Will the shoes stretch after wearing breaking them in?

  • Julie

    5/10/2017 2:33 PM

    @Anne Hi Anne, Great question... depends. If you mean stretch as in elongate - not especially. The elastic on the sides is rather durable and shouldn't loosen over time to keep the shoes snugly on your feet without slipping. If you mean in the width area, there is a bit of give so that the shoes can conform to your feet. Over time they should only fit better!

    @Gerry That's a great question, Gerry. We tend to test products on women firstly, since they are the majority of shoppers. Then if there is enough interest, we open it up to the guys :)

    @Virginia Hi Virginia, What a great question... although the shoes are not made specifically for a wide foot, they do have give and and you might do well with an XL. Unfortunately without trying them on specifically - I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty confident they will work for you. :)

    @Julie

    Going on a wing and a prayer here and ordering. I'm going to Okinawa in July and want something slip on to wear on the long plane rides to and from. I had decided to go with sneaker slides but don't like the "no back" for long striding walk through airports. Keeping fingers crossed AND THUMBS UP!!!

    Love the concept, but tucking the dirty heel end of the shoe's sole into the front of the shoe seems unsanitary. (I'm a bit of a germophobe.)

    @Jan Hi Jan,

    Yes I can see how that might be an issue, actually I just bang them together a couple times - like we used to have to do back in the day with chalkboard erasers, lol - and that generally gets rid of any debris on the bottom of the shoes :)

  • Gina

    Getting rid of debris from banging them together does not adequately remove bacteria, etc.. If ur at a gym, u can wipe the soles before folding, putting in bag.

    Hi, How thick are the soles, would they protect from a rocky surface like gravel or a pebbled sidewalk?

  • Julie

    5/10/2017 11:37 AM

    @Judy Hi Judy, Yes, great question the soles are rather thick so your feet won't feel a thing! They are just about 1/4" thick, plus there's a soft cushion on the inside.

    @Julie Hi Judy, is there enough support/cushion for someone with plantar fasciitis?

  • Julie

    5/10/2017 1:51 PM

    @Brandy I would say yes, keeping in mind there is a whole spectrum of pain related to that issue. I have flare-ups myself. You can always add more cushion via inserts, but I would try without first...you might be pleasantly surprised :)

    If you are at the upper end of the size scale, for example a 9.5, would it be best to buy a L or XL? I don't want them fitting super tight but I'd also hate to have my foot slide around in them.

    And if they don't fit can they be returned for a different size?

    @Jennifer Hi Jennifer, Perfect question - because of the size range, I would get the Large. You are at the tail end of sizing, but the XL I'm afraid would be much too big for you. As far as size exchange, here's a link to the Grommet's policy: https://www.thegrommet.com/customer-service/returns

    @Denise Hi Denise, I'm so glad you asked! The shoes were made to hug your foot entirely. What I mean is the elastic sides come up to about an inch away from where your heel begins. So yes, the the shoe will comfortably hug your heel and won't slip. Thanks for that question! :)

    If I am between a 9.5 and 10, which would you suggest? And, if they dont fit, can you send back for a different size?

    PS These look great by the way

    @Andrea Hi Andrea, Thanks for the props! If I were you, I would defintely try the Large. I would venture to say the XL will be too big for you. They can be returned, here's the Grommet's policy: https://www.thegrommet.com/customer-service/returns

    5/10/2017 3:44 PM

    @Anna Hi Anna, great question - a size 9 would defiently be a Large, It's smack in the middle of that range (8.5-9.5). Hope you enjoy! :)
