@Julie Thank you for your comment. I think you'll love Laceez ???? @Catherine Great question. There's quite a big difference between Laceez and Hickies. Laceez are a nylon and spandex blend so they have the look and feel of a high quality fabric lace (just with some strechiness to them). It will look like you have laces on, just without the bow/knots. Laceez are also designed by size to get optimal fit, since there's so many different size shoes, style shoes out there. Hickies are a rubber or silicone product and I don't believe they resmeble a regular shoelace look at all, but I've never worn any. They are also a one size fits all format. Hope that helps. Thanks!!

@RICHARD The correct size is simply based on your shoe size. You want to match your shoe size to the size chart under the size selector. For example, if you're a size 11, you want to order the Laceez size Large.

  • Sandra
    Sandra

There's no way to adjust them after purchase?

  • Jason and Sarah
Jason and Sarah – Special Guest
    4/5/2017 1:03 PM

@Sandra There technically isn't an adjusting mechanism. However in cases where the lace is a bit too long, you can go through the last eyelets a second time to use up the excess. In cases where the the lace may be a bit too short, you can give them a good stretch to break some of the elastic fibers, and it will add an extra inch to the length of the lace.

  • Sandra
    Sandra
    4/5/2017 12:33 PM

Over time, since they're elastic, do they stretch out?

  • Jason and Sarah
Jason and Sarah – Special Guest
    4/5/2017 1:07 PM

@Sandra Over time by simply wearing them, definitely not one bit. They only stretch out to be longer than their original form when you pull on them forcefully and purposefully (when their not on the shoe), this is typically used as a tip to give people who want them looser because the manual pull on each end will break some of the elastic fibers, adding an extra 1/2 to 1 inch depending on how hard you pull on each end.

Excellent idea, just that adult men colors (I didn't look into the female selections) should have more colors than boring Black and White laces. Even when I had to wear white shoes or snickers while working at a hospital, I would add Teal or Fluorescent color laces just to liven things up. I saw a response to another adult color laces and only saw a few colors projected for the future. If the kid's laces have Teal or Fluorescent colors, add those colors to the adult colors line.

@carol Hello. Yes they definitely will. Laceez' aglets are the same thickness as a regular shoelace aglet. So it should be no problem at all. Thanks!

I have shoes with different length strings. Do these come in various lengths?

My color suggestions for women's Laceez are: hot pink and purple. Because those would be perfect with my athletic shoes.
