Ciao!
We are the founders of Italianissimo® and the creators of TUBINO, a colorful, modern, and versatile collection of linkable jewelry; and we are thrilled that The Grommet is sharing our story and best-selling TUBINO bracelets with you. We hope you enjoy our TUBINO bracelets and welcome any questions you may have. -
Interested in this product for gifts as too large for my 6 1/2 inches as says 8 1/2 inches, but wondering, "Crafted from soft, satiny rubber, " but description states non rubber? And hypoallergenic?
-
@Cheryl You can cut it Cheryl!

Hi Cheryl, Kristan from The Grommet here.
Thanks for your great questions. The TUBINO is latex-free and nickel-free, but it does contain synthetic rubber. Also, you can simply cut the TUBINO to the length that works for your wrist and snap it into place. -
I am so excited to find your product! I have a daughter that is very sensitive to nickel, and this will be perfect for her! She will love this for Christmas! Thank you!
Quick question, as I haven't placed the order yet....how many pieces come in an order, and how many pieces do you suggest, to take it from a bracelet to a necklace? -
@Karen Hi Karen, Thanks for your question. We are offering one bracelet for $14 or 3 or more bracelets for $11 each. We think they look best stacked with 3 or more on a wrist. You can use 2 pieces for a shorter necklace and 3 for a longer necklace. There are a lot of great color combinations to choose from.

Looks like they may come off easily if caught in something and therefore lost?
-
Hi Marica,
Thank you for bringing up this important point, for with any piece of jewelry, there is always the concern of "will I lose it?" But fear not. The TUBINO or "little tube" that the bracelet is comprised of firmly fits around the central bead's pin and requires both hands - and a reassuring amount of tension - to pull apart. -
@kristan So once I have the size i like for my tiny wrist, can I just push it over my hand and take it off without having to unhook it? Seems like if it takes two hands to attach it, how would you do that once it's on your wrist?
-
@elizabeth Hi Elizabeth, I have small wrists as well and I like to just roll the TUBINO off my wrist BUT I like to wear my bracelets a little big rather than hugging my wrist. I have also taken the TUBINO apart and I have found them easy to put back on. It's really a personal preference.
