Nice Socks

11/13/2013 by Henry

The socks were very nice, although very lightweight for the winter months. Well built and the colors were very nice also. One downfall I thought was the shipping cost, very costly to ship 4 ounce socks. Except for shipping cost, I would purchase again from Grommet.More > < Less

Wonderful socks but small for size 9.5

10/28/2013 by Mary Ann

These socks are fantastic! I've worn them a lot since they arrived and have also washed and air dried them. They are extremely comfortable, comfortable, not even a tiny bit itchy, and wonderful to look at.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I think they run a little small.

My feet are size 9.5 and the socks are not quite large enough - the top edge of the yellow heel usually sits right where my heel meets the floor. Still very comfortable, but had I known and had the larger women's size been offered when I bought these, I would have selected the larger size.

These socks are warm and remained dry for my winter hikes. I love them for that reason but like other women's socks they are tight on the top. I'm sure if you use them for walking and hiking they will work for most women but I hike trails and my calves and legs aren't small. Love the socks thou.More > < Less

Attractive socks, but I wouldn't put these at the top of my list as far as wool socks. Wouldn't order again.

Socks do not stay up. Disappointing.

Socks sink into shoes...most uncomfortable.

About Darn Tough Vermont

Sock it to 'em

Guaranteed for life. Now that’s something you don’t hear very often, especially when it comes to your socks. But a lifetime guarantee is exactly what you get when you purchase a pair of Darn Tough Vermont Socks. These vibrantly colored, form-fitting socks are made of fine gauge Merino wool and are uniquely designed to withstand whatever your feet put them through.

With 1441 stitches per square inch (more than any other sock on the market), Darn Tough Vermont Socks are made to last with quality and care in the Green Mountains of Vermont by Cabot Hosiery Mills, the last remaining sock manufacturer in New England.

Ric Cabot, third generation owner of the mill, takes the business of socks seriously and plays a key role in testing prototypes. He doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the sock—wearing one pair for three weeks straight without a single wash to ensure it can hold up under even the most rugged conditions.

These socks aren't just darn tough, they're darn comfortable. We hope that you and your feet agree.
