Wonderful Product

I’ve had the large one for a few years and love it! It works exactly as advertised. We use it a lot when taking our trailer out camping. We start a stew before we leave, put it in our truck, and by the time we get to our destination, our dinner is cooked. Works great all the time though. I’m excited to see there is now a smaller one. Can’t wait to get it!More > < Less

Great for Preppers

Cooking on minimal power.

Cooked Food Stays Warm

This product really does keep, precooked food warm. I feel the name is misleading since it is not a slow cooker. The food must be cooked first.

How do you slow cook with cloth?

About wonderbag.

Cloth Cooker

This insulated bag is actually a portable slow cooker. It uses heat retention and a fraction of the energy to cook your food while camping, at picnics, or even just a dinner party.

Start the cooking process like you usually would, by bringing your soup, stew, or other meal to a boil. Then remove the pot from the heat and place it inside the wonderbag. The insulation will let it keep cooking without any additional electricity or fuel.

Maker Sarah Collins is based in South Africa, where some people—particularly women and children—spend a huge amount of time gathering wood for cooking and heat. The effort it takes keeps them out of school and work, and the fire has various health hazards for the people cooking. Sarah created wonderbag as more than just a cooking accessory, it’s “a catalyst out of poverty.”

When you buy a wonderbag, you’re also helping fund the wonderbag Foundation, which is committed to giving more families in need access to an easier, safer, more environmentally friendly way to cook.
