Albee Wood, a fifth generation farmer who owns Wood’s Maple Syrup Co., swears by this spreadable maple cream. Maple sap is boiled down into syrup, then whipped into a buttery texture. Husband loves maple sugar

Last year I gave him real maple syrup as a present, so this year I thought I'd try the maple cream as a change. He used it up very quickly- itly- it was great. I was also attracted to it because Wood is my maiden nameeMore > < Less

I put it on everything. Literally. Pork, coffee, ice cream, waffles, bananas, just out of the jar with a spoon... it's so amazingly delicious. mmmmmmMore > < Less

Lovely, but get the big jar!

I got the small jar because I'd never had maple cream before. Big mistake - it's so incredibly delicious! I've used this on toast or crackers, mainly. It would be great with waffles or pancakes.More > < Less

I am buying more!!

I was delighted with the maple cream. I bought it for my 'sweetie' for Valentine's Day, and since then it has taken our pancakes and French toast to the next level. It tastes like the frosting that gives maple bars their 'maple' flavor, so the sky is the limit for what you can use this on. We even tried it on some ham steaks and it carmelized in the skillet wonderfully, and was much neater than conventional syrup. Enjoy!!More > < Less

Yummy But Jar Leaks

Taste is a delicious 5 star. Be warned -- jar lids are NOT secure. Be careful that they are placed in upright position unless you want to spend HOURS scrapping hardened sugar off your shelf!More > < Less

Have you ever put maple syrup HERE?

About Wood's Vermont Syrup Co.

Maple Madness

Traditionally made, but uniquely flavored, Wood’s specialty flavored maple syrup is like no maple syrup you’ve had before.

Maker Albee Wood makes the syrup the way it’s been made on his family’s farm for five generations, tapping more than 5,000 trees and boiling down the sap. Then he gets creative, even aging some of the syrup in bourbon or rum barrels.

You can use this flavored maple syrup in so many new ways—in sauces, for baking, over ice cream, and even in cocktails. It’s packaged for gifting and perfect for anyone who loves to eat.

In another innovative twist, Wood also makes a maple cream, whipping the syrup until the liquid is removed and the texture is like butter. It spreads like butter too, and won’t make pancakes—or anything else you spread it on—soggy. It will just make them delicious.
