I have looked at this rain gauge for awhile and then decided to get one for myself and for several people on my Christmas list. Very cool rain gauge and really well made. Gives us something to look forward to checking when it rains. Thanks for the quality!More > < Less

Functional conversation piece

I love this handy little gadget. Here in Florida where it rains frequently and can rain very hard, it's difficult to know how much water your plants need. The rain gauge prevents me from over-watering with the irrigation system when we've had ample rain during the night. Functional and attractive.More > < Less

The best Fathers Day Present Ever

11/4/2018 by Phillip

Have purchased numerous rain gauges over the years, that were easily broken or simply did not last. Received this one as a gift and began to check it everyday. A good year to do so.
Well constructed, mounts securely and stays upright. Measures rainfall in an easy to read pop up. Easy to empty daily and clean monthly.
Loved it so much have it as my go to gift for extended family.
Well done and highly recommend.

Love the look of this gauge and like that I can see how much rain we’ve had without leaving the house.

World's Coolest - Rain Gauge

About World's Coolest

Ready for Rainfall

Wondering how long to run your sprinkler? Not sure how much rain fell last night? Determining if your plants and flowers have gotten enough water doesn’t have to involve guesswork. In fact, it can be a work of art.

World’s Coolest Rain Gauge is just what the name suggests—a clever tool that measures how much water your garden gets, either from rainfall or a sprinkler. It’s a functional instrument, plus it adds a fun, sculptural element to your outdoor space.

Created by Moira “Mo” Clune, the gauge uses water displacement to measure rainfall. A copper flute collects the water, and a blue polycarbonate measuring tube with a calibrated float fits inside the collection flute. As water fills the copper flute, the blue tube floats up, displaying the rainfall measurement. Mo uses local sources (all the parts are fabricated within a 50-mile radius of her home base) and she makes each piece by hand in Gardiner, N.Y.

Keeping a steady supply of moisture in the soil is critical for flowers, plants and gardens. With World’s Coolest Rain Gauge, you can keep tabs on water levels with style.
