@Nora One of the great aspects to Wrapadoo is that it is durable beyond belief when it comes to machine washing & drying (we even had 3rd party testing to prove it!). I would suggest you try the Ivory color because it can tolerate a moderate amount of bleaching (because I personally have bleached mine a few times). I love your feedback because I now have a great new development to work on. If all goes well today, we can create a Wrapadoo that solves this issue easily. In the meantime, give us a try and I promise you'll be eager to grab yourself another on the next round. Thank you Nora! (Let me know what color you choose)

I had previously purchased the "turbie twist' and it simply didn't stand up to the weight of her wet hair. The wrapadoo has been great for her...it stands up, I have washed it a ton and it still looks great and is still absorbent. Bought her a second one for law school. Great stuff and congrats on making such a good product.

I got my Wrapadoo a year ago and have to say that it has been a life saver for my hair and my time getting ready in the AM. I have pretty long hair and all the other types of hairwraps were just not big enough for me (besides the fact that they fell apart easily after several washing). Also I used to wrap my hair in a towel but it was so heavy on my head although it covered my hair. Now I use my wrapadoo everyday (when I don't wash my hair I still put it in the wrapadoo when I take my shower).

After a year, my wrapadoo is still in great condition. It is worth every penny! I highly recommend it and order another for a bridal shower gift.

    Hi Cynthia

I love that you mentioned naturally curly hair in your video and it sounds as if you are aware of the 'natural' movement among us, in my case The Curly Girl method. With that in mind, are there any plans to produce a Wrapadoo with a microfiber interior instead of terry?

Many of us naturally curlies are avoiding terry as it is more harsh on our delicate curls, and have transitioned only to the use of microfiber.

Your Wrapadoo is by far superior to any wrap I currently own in my preferred fabric and I would love to benefit from the ease and convenience, but I have experienced such a dramatic improvement in the texture and health of my hair by avoiding terry towels and wraps I cannot bring myself to regress back.

Any chance of a micro variation?

    Please? =)

@Julie Awesome question, so happy you brought this up. We have a tremendous following from you "curly haired girls". We've also have had some fabulous reviews from a few major bloggers who only blog about this subject. Our Terry cloth is a knit, not a woven. What that means is that it is the same texture and weave as most micro fibers without the over absorbency associated with them (It's the knitting of the yarn that makes the difference). The reason that matters is because if you over-dry the hair too quickly as with many micro fibers, it can create frizz as well as change the texture and bounce of your curls. Not to mention product application associated with uneven dry patches. Another key point to Wrapadoo is that you do not need to twist and we are the only product that actually lays the absorbent fabric directly on top of your crown. That means level of moisture is the same from crown to tips. No more dry ends and soaking wet crown. Hope that helps and I hope you'll give us a try. I know you'll happily share your new find with all your "curly girl" sisters. Thanks for the opportunity to discuss this Julie.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who has beautiful (and expensive) hair extensions and she L-O-V-E-S it! She said her bath towel was pulling on her extensions and the Wrapadoo does not do that at all. @Shawn Not sure we are ever going to get used to all these love-letters! Wrapadoo really does make a great gift, doesn't it? Wrapadoo is an absolute life-savers for women with weaves or extensions. Early on in the development process I discovered that women with artificial hair cannot flip forward because the weight of the water can stress and pull the follicle as well as the extension itself! What a great friend you are, thank you for sharing Wrapadoo!

I promise, this comment is meant in the best way possible. I really *do* want to know. I have 3 or 4 Turbie Twists hanging around my house, and all of them totaled around $10 (in a pack, not individually). Those work just fine for me. The Wrapadoo looks, from here, to be just like it. What sets your product apart from the other?

  • Cynthia
    Cynthia – Special Guest
    8/14/2014 4:11 PM

@Jennifer Best question of the day, thank you! Your question about what sets us apart from Turbie Twist besides the pricing is one I'm happy to address. We never set out to be the cheapest product on the market, we simply wanted to be the best. I wanted to create a product that solved more problems that it created. First off, we are duel-layered. The inside shell is our absorbent cotton terry, while the outer layer is purely sublime luxury. That luxury also serves a purpose (aside from being a slice of heaven!) in that Wrapadoo not only helps dry your wet hair but, we also keep your dry hair dry for those days when you simply need to jump in and out of the shower. Another big difference is there is no need to flip your head or twist & fold your hair. Wrapadoo is extra long (which I'll also address in the next reply), can handle abundant amounts of thick, curly hair (which our competitor cannot) and most importantly we last through 100's of machine washings and dryings, never having the need to toss them away needing to replace (why do you think they give you 4 in pack?). In the long run, Wrapadoo is economical because you do not need to keep replacing it over and over again. Plus, the tremendous value Wrapadoo provides as a form "investment protection" for all your stylings, products, hot tools and DIY treatments pays for itself almost immediately. The question really comes down to how much do you value your hair and its long term health? I hope this helps, happy to continue discussing. Can you tell it's one of my favorite subjects? :-)

I'm a long haired gal myself and I see from some of the comments that it worked for them but from the video I couldnt tell how long the Wrapadoo is. My hair is 23 inches long from the nape of my neck (all-natural) and I'm wondering if I have to "fold/tuck" my ends in or would it stick out?

  • Cynthia
    Cynthia – Special Guest
    8/14/2014 4:21 PM

@Flora I'd bet money that your long hair is gorgeous! While the Wrapadoo is significantly longer than any product on the market, it might not be long enough for your particular needs. From crown to tip, Wrapadoo measures out at about 28". I can tell you it's also quite abundant to handle thick and densely curly hair. From my measurement of nape down, Wrapadoo has about 18". I hope this helps, I would love to have you give us a try as I know you'll discover there's nothing on the market like us. Thank you for your inquiry Flora.

  • Cynthia
    Cynthia – Special Guest
    8/14/2014 9:26 PM

@Loretta J Good evening Lorretta, thank you for your comment and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to reply. I know at first glance it seems a bit steep but, to be honest, it's not just a hair towel. Wrapadoo becomes a large part of your daily hair care routine, offering more benefits than any ordinary towel or flimsy turban. As a matter of fact, just from the standpoint of maintaining the healthy hair you have, a towel is the worst thing you can use on your hair. From the heavy weight, the rough texture and the tight twisting to keep it in place, you're actually damaging your hair. Once it becomes stressed and broken, its gone! As we get older the follicle of the hair thins (the actual root), it breaks and falls out easily, almost impossible to regrow as it once was. In other words, we need to maintain what we have before its gone. Much like skin care, we need to spend a little extra to maintain and enhance what we have before it's too late. Wrapadoo becomes that investment of protection for your hair. Wrapadoo is incredibly durable, will last well over a year, which makes it an affordable luxury that you really cannot afford not to have. When you think about how much you spend on looking good, feeling healthy, maintaining a vital lifestyle to enrich your appearance, I ask you is $40. too much? I do hope you'll take a look at all the comments earlier today. I think they speak loudly for how the value more than adds up as a must-have in your beauty arsenal. Thank you again for this opportunity Loretta, I hope you'll give Wrapadoo a second look. Have a good evening!

PS - I can also add that NOTHING else feels like a Wrapadoo. It's an experience that compares to none other. :-)

@Flora I'd bet money that your long hair is gorgeous! While the Wrapadoo is significantly longer than any product on the market, it might not be long enough for your particular needs. From crown to tip, Wrapadoo measures out at about 28". I can tell you it's also quite abundant to handle thick and densely curly hair. From my measurement of nape down, Wrapadoo has about 18". I hope this helps, I would love to have you give us a try as I know you'll discover there's nothing on the market like us. Thank you for your inquiry Flora.
