The best sled ever

by

My son loves this sled he is 5'8" 170 lbs and he said his sled was better than the other sleds his friends have. the sled actually stood up to the being used 7 hours for 3 days straight. I am so glad I brought this sled instead of the others I shopped for onlineMore > < Less

FAST!!!!!

by

I just gave each of my granddaughters, ages eight and ten, a Zipfy for Christmas. They took them out to the sliding hill today, and came back really excited about how FAST they were, and how easy they were to steer. Their dad tried out the Zipfy also and thought that it was just great! Very easy to carry back up the hill also.More > < Less

Great sled for many conditions

by

We love these sleds. The flat base, with no runners, means that they can be used on snow that hasn't been compacted, the elevation means that you aren't sitting directly on a thin sheet of plastic (which on our other cheap sleds would often crack when going over the first rock under the snow). The saddle horn is much easier and less scary to grip than the sides of the traditionally designed sleds. . . and they are easy to lug up the hill again once you go down. Much less heavy than our wooden radio flyer. We now have three, one for each kid, ages 3, 6, and 9 during last year's snow when we put them through heavy use. My oldest also rigged a few jumps/snow bumps and was thrilled with her sledding success. We didn't use helmets, but I could see how that might be a good idea.More > < Less

GREAT

by

First snow this winter in Megeve France. Today the triplets and their older sister tried out The Mini Luge . I bought four as Christmas gifts. They told me the sled is very fast and tonight was the best
ride they ever had.

Zipfy Freestyle Mini Luge The fastest sled game for kids

About Zipfy Freestyle

King of the Hill

In my hometown there was one long steep hill at the local country club that every kid both dreamed about and feared each winter. As soon as the snow fell, we’d all grab our sleds and head for the monster known as the Heart Attack Hill.

Finding the right sled was always a challenge—plastic cheapies were lightweight but usually shredded after a handful of runs (and most likely a couple of crashes), and the sturdier kind with runners were great for steering but a bear to haul back up the hill. The lightweight but rugged Zipfy Mini Luge offers the best of both worlds.

The unique lever on the Zipfy makes it super maneuverable and stable, which would have come in handy when I was a kid (did I mention there was a pond at the bottom of the Heart Attack Hill?) And, at just 3.7 pounds, it’s easy to throw this sled over your shoulder for a quick run back to the top of the hill.

It isn’t just for kids either—with a weight capacity of 250 pounds the Zipfy can easily carry the intrepid adult who’s ready to live out his or her Olympic Luge dreams. The Zipfy comes in pink, blue, or green, and its super sleek design guarantees that your kid (or you) will be the coolest sledder on the slope.

Would you brave the biggest hills on the Zipfy? Share your favorite sledding memories.
